    On Monday I had an issue that I didn’t know how serious it was. I did the online triage assessment and within the hour I had an appointment for a few days time. I called to explain my symptoms more In depth and the receptionist really listened to me and got me an appointment the same day. I was treated with the upmost respect and care! Thanks to the practice my issue was spotted early enough for the hospital to take quick action to prevent it getting any worse. The staff saved my life today. Thank you so much.

    I requested my medication (clonazepam) as I have been on this medication for more than 20 years. I have an ongoing issue with my health and was referred by the GP to the ENT department. However after waiting one month. I was advised by the hospital I will have to wait untill Novemeber 2026. So I took matters in to my own hands and booked a ticket to go to Poland, where my familly live. And Try and seek help over there privately as its too expensive in this country for a private consultation. I simply requested the medication as I will not be able to get it abroad in my native country. They text me and told me I can get this medication whilst abroad. But me being polish and lived in the country. I know the procedure of being given this medication. I would have to apply for a national card, wait for the national card. For my mother to place me as a resident on her address, find a neurologist. have tests then they will give the medication. By that time. I would be without medication. For the clinician to deny the request has caused me to cancel my ticket to Poland as I can not fly without this and has cost me money. I need to know whats going on with my health and the clinicians are playing with my life and think they know the policy of my own country. Poland does not function like the NHS and Does not function like a typical European country. I am appualed that they have done this. Its appauling I have to seek help in another country just to get help with my ear, let alone not bring awarded medication to tie me over whilst I'm in my native country!

    I have had problems getting a constant supply of Flip flow catheter valves. The receptionist today , 24th February 2025, at RiverMead Surgery, Chelmsford, was more than helpful in securing this for me. She was friendly, extremely efficient and helpful.

    I was advised by their GP that I need a F2F and keep leaving online requests over nearly 3 weeks and had no response. I am asked each time to let them know when I'm available and I never leave this blank. When I called to investigate Rreceptionist told me that they responded but when I'm not available. Incompetent!

  5. Review titled Repeat prescriptions

    I tried to order a repeat prescription that has been in place for some time. Nothing authorised@ . Looking further there is a note telling me to arrange a review. There is no way of me knowing this until it's time to order the prescription. And it's me that has to make an appointment. No advance notification, why not! I will have only one tablet left when this appointment takes place. Advance notification please! There is no reason for me to look at the app in advance of a renewal of my repeat prescription.

    We moved to this surgery in February last year, when we moved house, and I strongly recommend it. My husband and I have various ongoing issues so have regular contact with them. I never have to wait long for the phone to be answered and the receptionists are pleasant and helpful, including when I've been in to speak to them - several times in the last few weeks. Emails are answered promptly, and they are quick to update the NHS app, with relevant information. Texts are regularly sent, to organise vaccinations amongst other things, and the admin staff have dealt with some paperwork needed in good time. A couple of days ago I was fitted in for an emergency appointment within 45 mins. In 18 months there have only been a couple of 'blips' which is pretty good. Thank you Rivermead.

    I have always found this practice really good! Once again, I was able to get an appointment easily, staff at reception were pleasant and helpful, the GP was thorough, arranged a follow up appointment, in all an excellent experience.

    This is the worst GP you can find in Chelmsford. They messed my appointments multiple times, and on multiple occasions, I've had to return after my arrival because they were unable to fulfill their responsibilities. Additionally, the nurses are incompetent; they don't even know how to take your blood and simply turn you away, wasting your time by advising you to go to the hospital instead. Furthermore, booking an appointment takes an excessively long time. I strongly advise against choosing this GP

    I am a frequent flyer for 8 weekly injections, and am notoriously poor at remembering to book these in advance of the actual week they are required. Once again I have just called they surgery (minimal wait less than 6 mins) to book an appointment. The receptionist, as always, was polite, professional and managed to secure me an appointment for Friday. So we are quick to moan but not so swift in saying thank you - so today I am taking the time to do just that.
