    Since changing to this practice just Over one year ago, I have been pleased time and time again at the responsiveness and care this practice has provided to both myself and my new born baby. Whether calling to arrange check ups and injections for my daughter or submitting a e-consult for myself they provide a fantastic service (a level I did not see at my previous practice in Newham). All staff members i have engaged with are professional and clearly well trained.

    I recently made use if River Place surgery for an ongoing medical condition. From day 1 the receptionists, diabetic nurses, doctors and pharmacists gave delivered really caring and professional service in a prompt and humane manner. I believe they have gone above and beyond the services I experienced in other surgeries I have consulted. I cannot praise thus surgery highly enough. These people are the model on which health care should be based. Thank you for your service.

    My family have been patients at this practice for over thirty years. Overall the service of the doctors is excellent. The doctors take time to listen help where they can. They have also come on home visits. One named GP also rings to check on elderly family members. However the system for booking appointments is not patient friendly. I don't understand why the system is not open all the time. Surely it is known when the doctors work and when they are on leave. Having been told to keep ringing or going in every two weeks only to find that all the appointments have gone. Last year I waited five weeks for an appt but at least I knew I was going to see my doctor. This year I have yet to get an appointment. We are always told get it checked by a doctor, that it seems is easier said than done. It's a shame as it lets the the health centre down.

    Really easy to complete online, love the speed and can get what I need quickly without needing an appointment, or if a appointment is required they’ll fit it in for you

    Dear Patient, Thank you for your comments. eConsults are a key part of our patient's access to clinical and admin staff, and as you point out they can avoid your needing a GP appt. e.g. for fit notes as well as clinical advice.     I have been a patient of the surgery for many years and find the practice staff and management friendly, efficient, responsive and helpful. My named/usual GP is absolutely amazing. He is extremely busy, yet always makes time to listen and looks into the best possible approach, giving helpful advice on relevant services. When he is not available, the other GPs, whether permanent or locum, have been excellent too. I have also seen first hand how patient participation is encouraged and management listens and acts on areas of improvement.

    Me and my mum have been registered at River Place for over 20 years. The service we receive is excellent and we both cant imagine going to another practice. Each and every doctor listens to our problems and we always leave feeling relaxed and heard.

    I was at this surgery for a number of years when I lived in Islington. I’ve found it responsive and the GPs take time to listen to you. Before the pandemic I could always get a same day appointment. It changed a bit after but I think most places did. I’ve just been to my new surgery and found the attitude of the doctors different… more rushed.

    My usual doctor, who also attended my husband when terminally ill in 2008, was extremely caring and efficient when I needed some help myself this year. I valued her assiduous follow up and find her immensely capable and confidence-inspiring. She must be enormously busy but gives no indication of that when speaking to you. Wonderful work.

    There has been a lot of comment in the media about people not being able to get GP appointments. I just wanted to give my thanks and support for River Place Health Centre. I have had face to face and telephone appointments whenever I've needed them. The service has been great. Thank you!
