    Good experience when dealing with the staff ,The Doctor and receptionist were very polite and understanding. Treated as a person and not a number, normally I feel like I am an inconvenience , I was dealt with a kind and friendly manner . Totally different than last time I visited the surgery

    I saw the doctor for my appointment on time there was no waiting. I felt she was very efficient asking about my medical history considering I have never seen this doctor before also I haven’t been at the practice for a long time. She went on to examine also told me to book in for tests with the receptionist. I felt I had been treated very well

    No complaints about the practice the doctor I am seeing this week is very good and efficient. Tests arranged to assess my problem done quickly. Appointments personnel also efficient and polite when phoning in.

    As a new patient at the practice I had a good experience. I was able to make a same-day appointment and was informed on the electronic check-in how long appointments were running behind. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The GP listened and was helpful in updating my notes. At my previous practice there was no email address for patients to send information to but this was not a problem here so I was able to email a letter to be uploaded to my patient record. Overall, a much better experience than I had at my previous practice.

    In October I had neck scan as suffer with chronic pain. 11th Nov had physio appointment at 11.40am to discuss results. Turned up plenty of time to be told appointment was at 11am, I showed text stating time&date of appointment to be told we don't send out the text. So I asked how do I find out my scam results to be told the physio won't see me. I still have never found out scan results and still in chronic pain.

    I've used this practice for many years and never been disappointed. All the staff including receptionist, doctors & nurses are always lovely. They are very efficient and I/my family always receive the best care. Special shout to "the nurse" who took my blood today, people usually struggle with me but she gets blood straight away and never any bruising.

    I transferred here due to moving house last year and chose the practice due to good ratings. I'm not a complex case but have experienced two admin errors within the last month. My prescription was sent to a different pharmacy in Didsbury, but it took multiple phone calls with my actual pharmacy and the practice to figure this out and get it corrected. I always include the pharmacy I use in my presciption request. Today I turned up to a New Patient Check appointment which I had been summoned for via text (I registered about 8 months ago) then was called into a side room only to be told it was made in error and was meant for a different patient. I hope it's understandable why this is very frustrating because it comes across as a lack of basic diligence.

    Dear patient Firstly, I would like to express my sincere apologies for your recent negative experience with The Pike Practice. The surgery endeavours to provide the best possible standard of care to all our patients and we hope this response assures you of the seriousness of which we have taken your concerns and actions we will take to help to prevent this from happening again to you or any other patient. The Pike Practice does take complaints seriously and welcome any feedback from patients which will ultimately assist us to improve the services we deliver. I am sorry it took multiple phone calls to amend your nominated pharmacy. I have since discussed with my reception and admin team to be vigilant when requesting medication and ensuring the correct pharmacy is on patient records. Staff are sincerely apologetic for the unnecessary stress this would have caused you. I have also spoken with the reception and admin team regarding an appointment being booked for you and the team do take full responsibility of this error and would like to extend their further apologies.
