I attended for a appointment to be told I had missed the appointment was I was on time for the time I was told to then have to wait for another appointment the following day it is a struggle for me to walk to attend as it is

After recently changing to this practice and having my first GP appointment this week with a lovely female doctor, I finally feel that I’m receiving the care that I need and am being heard! From the reception staff (who are all extremely polite and efficient) to the clinical staff (who are professional and understanding) this practice is fantastic and is obviously well managed.I am so happy that I am a patient here, I only wish I had made the decision to change GP’s much sooner!

For a short consultation and that I had not been to see the GP for some time she seemed au fait with all the facts relating to the operation I had last year and how it related to my current illness episode. The GP also then looked at my general health and how my other medication was affecting me, booking me in for a blood test to ensure everything else was fine. Felt very well cared for.

I dislike telephone calls. The recent policy of initiating a telephone call instead of face to face is very stressful. I was recently disappointed that because I missed the doctors call by seconds I had to wait a further 24 hours. In future I would rather wait for a face to face appointment. I really like and trust my named doctor but rarely get an opportunity to see her. The last three occasions I have had locums I understand that there is a shortage of doctors throughout the country . The practice would certainly benefit from a second doctor. I have an ongoing problem and trust that the locum is doing his best for me.

I phoned at 8am took 10 minutes to answer but was given a face to face appointment at 10.30 which I attended I was seen on time.

Not happy that medication couldn't have been prescribed on the day, as my referral to the pharmacy showed I didn't have a throat infection so had to be referred to my GP, had to wait another day for medication due to my chest infection.

I registered my new born baby, this wasn’t picked up and she wasn’t able to have her 6 weeks check up! The phone never gets answered. Me and my partner have tried for 2 whole weeks and eventually had to walk down to the surgery. When I did get an appointment they never made any attempt to inform me of my babies vaccinations. Then the next appointment for her 1st vaccines is when she 3 months old nearly. I don’t feel supported by this practice and it’s not professional at all

Fantastic service from all the practice staff (reception, nurse and doctor). I had to rearrange my nurses appointment and this was carried out by the receptionist.

This practice has really improved in just a short space of time. It used to be that you could only get an appointment if ringing at 8am and they would have all gone before you could get through. Now I am listened to, given a number of options (out of ours GP at another surgery) to see a nurse, online consultation form rather than just saying the appointments have gone. They now go above and beyond, offer more services and you can view all your results etc on the NHS app. I got a same day appointment for my 2year old boy, looked in his ears and prescribed antibiotics and eye drops, would have liked for his chest to have been heard but antibiotics should cover all infections.

The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful, going out of their way to help. The Doctor was very attentive and explained things in Datsun in a very friendly manner
