  2. Review titled Car crash of a surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

Seems to be one rule for one and another rule for others. Practically impossible to get an appointment and impossible to see the same Dr for a follow up. The booking process seems to change every time you call up. If you don’t get cut off after 15 mins on hold that is. I’ve been told I need to discuss some test result with a Dr (worrying I know) but I can’t see that dr for at least 6 weeks. The place is a mess and I think everyone agrees after reading these reviews.

Dear patient, Thank you for feedback. We understand it can be stressful obtaining appointments. I would like to assure you a clinician checks the results and action accordingly. We apologise the message worried you and we will look into rephrasing the message. We always strive to meet patient expectation and deliver the highest standards of healthcare. For the most of our patients we achieve this despite the finite resources and steadily increasing demand for services that exists today within the NHS. If you wish to discuss further please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind regards. Jasvinder Banwait

  3. Review titled Good Service

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Sharon - Posted on 09 March 2023

Have thankfully had no need since the pandemic to see or contact the surgery but was recently invited by text message for health check and the whole process was smooth and efficient. Telephone answered within a very reasonable time & appointment given for the following week. Tests completed with results back within a week and follow up appointments timely & were also hassle free to obtain. Very pleased with the service I received.

  4. Review titled Dreadful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Martin Barradell - Posted on 18 February 2023

Dr was ok but getting past the reception is a nightmare . Can’t they be sacked if I was this rude to people I would have fired . Some people are sick and may be having mental problems cos of not getting medication correct . They seem to want people just to go away or call back 8 the next day knowing full well that there are no appointments they seem to think it’s funny . They say they won’t tolerate rude behaviour but it’s ok for them to be rude to you . They even closed the hatch one one lady who was clearly distressed . Family care ! It’s a joke !

  5. Review titled Great healthcare assistant, nurses and GPs

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 27 January 2023

Great healthcare assistant, nurses and GPs. But GPs in general need a better appointment system, maybe like an online booking service. If you don’t call at 8am sharp you run out of appointment slots instantly.

  6. Review titled No consisting with rules

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 January 2023

This practice continue to ask patients to wear masks while waiting. I don’t have a problem with this at all. However the staff (largely receptionists who ask you to ensure you’re wearing a mask) are sitting at their desks without any face coverings. If face masks are still required this should apply to everyone. And particularly those instructing others to wear theirs.

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I phoned fir an appointment with the nurse and explained my issue. The following morning I received a call from reception saying that a doctors appt was more appropriate. Saw the doctor on the same day and she was kind, non judgemental and supportive . I felt very confident in her approach. First class service

  9. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Marion R - Posted on 31 January 2023

My thanks to the staff for the care received during recent visits to the nurses for treatment to a leg wound. Their expert care has improved the wound and to help the healing process they arranged for me to attend the Wound Clinic where experienced nurses gave good advice. Thank you so much for the support received and your hard work is much appreciated.

Dear Martin Barradell, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you have had unacceptable delays getting through to the surgery. Unfortunately, we have had staff members off with sickness and family bereavements. We feel this has impacted on the response times in addition to the unprecedented demands on our current service. Our records show that it is incorrect to say that you have not seen a Doctor since February. Please contact the Practice Manager if you would like to discuss the matter further. Kind regards.
