    Dear NHS team, NHS Number [733 464 7408] Pearl Medical centre Birmingham, I am writing to express my concern about the treatment I have received regarding my foot pain and swelling. I have been experiencing severe pain in my heels, feet, and ankles, which makes it difficult to walk. I have consulted with my GP several times, and they diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis. However, I recently had a test in Pakistan, the HLA-B27, which came back positive and indicated that I may have ankylosing spondylitis. This condition also causes pain in my back, hips, arms, and neck. I am concerned that my condition has not been properly diagnosed or treated. I would like to request that I be referred to a specialist for further evaluation and that all necessary tests, including the HLA-B27 test, be conducted to determine the cause of my symptoms.     I was so worried but the doctor really listened to me. They explained that they couldn't fix things straight away but I just knew they would try and I left feeling so much better.

    The doctor and his assistant took into account my physical, mental and social needs and advised me according to that. They were very attentive asked questions, listened to my replies and gave me very helpful advice. I would recommend this practice highly, as patients are the foremost important aspect to them. They have been very supportive of me these past few years when life got very hard. Overall i would not change my doctors. It's not the closest to my house but i rather drive the extra 15mins to see them. My GP is the most caring and helpful GP. I have recently been going through a lot of issues due to my health and needed extra support from my GP and it is always available. Knowing how busy the practice is, I am always impressed with the receptionist as my concern are dealt with asap. I feel really at ease as i am treated with dignity and respect.

    Today appointment with nurse I cannot go upstairs nurse but came see us downstairs more help but it bit time we received nice service from the nurse

    I am writing to express my frustration and concern regarding the difficulties I have encountered in accessing timely medical care at Pearl Medical Centre, postcode B82HQ. I have called the practice multiple times seeking an appointment, only to be consistently told to call back the next day due to fully booked slots. I have made these calls at appropriate times but continue to face the same issue. This ongoing situation has left me feeling very distressed, especially as I am experiencing significant pain throughout my body and swelling in my foot. I urge you to address this matter promptly, as it is affecting my well-being. I look forward to your response.

    Dear Mr Hussain, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you have found it difficult to arrange a GP appointment. We offer daily appointments released at 8am and 11.30am Monday to Friday and offer Saturday appointments at 9am, where patients can also walk in to book an appointment. We are also open late evenings until 8pm on Mondays and Thursdays to accommodate those who are not able to attend during the standard 9am-5pm hours. We offer more GP appointments than contractually required, and also offer appointments with the clinical pharmacist. Once appointments are booked, we direct our patients to 111, refer to a local pharmacy/ Pressure Relief Clinic or advise them to attend A+E depending on the issue. We will also contact patients if there has been any cancellation. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us on 01213280999 and ask to speak to the complaints manager.
