  1. Review titled Good practice

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I requested a prescription which is not on my repeat and had a message to say a practitioner would be calling me. I did receive a further message giving a time of call and had a call on time. I was asked questions about my request and felt it was a good and thorough check to make sure I needed it and that it was correct for me. Very happy with the care and polite call. Thank you

  2. Review titled A good meditation review.

The pharmacist was very good. She listened and took on board what had happened in the previous 24hours and advised me on how and when my medication changes would change.

  3. Review titled Dr Review (Nurse Practitioner - I think)

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 May 2025

My review call was within in time slot allowed. But I found the NP didn't speak clearly and I had to ask her to repeat her questions several times before I could understand what she was saying. In the end I ended up agreeing with her just to end the call. Not really a satisfactory situation at all. I got fed up with continually asking her to repeat what she had just said. I agreed to have medication that I'm not happy about - asked three times what it was called (instead of statins) and still couldn't understand what she called it. I guess I will find out when I pick it up from the chemists - read a side effects and decide whether I want to take it or not

  4. Review titled how not to treat people

Rated 1 star out of 5

by stuart ritchie - Posted on 19 May 2025

first I was told that my appointment was between 10 and 11 am. The doctor phoned me at 10 to 10 after I received an email saying that it was 940 to 1140. He didn’t say his name. It was a bad reception his end he was very abrupt and came across quite arrogant. I explained the problems and asked whether I needed to go back on the antibiotics I was told no not at all and I should keep putting the cream and that if it wasn’t working then to get in contact with them a week later I felt at the time I was having a lecture I am 70 years old now it reminded me of when I was seven so not really a good idea so if they want to employ doctors like this, I suggest they keep them out of the front line because his bedside manner was shocking

  5. Review titled Excellent Communication

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lynne Syme - Posted on 15 May 2025

I asked for a telephone conversation with a Clinician. The lady I spoke to was so empathetic and caring. I felt understood and cared for. Excellent communication from this practice. I was left feeling heard and confident that my health issue would be addressed and managed between both myself and the Clinician I spoke with. Well done Patford House Partnership.

  6. Review titled No chairs

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Upstairs waiting room there is only 3 chairs. There was 6 people in there at one point, and people felt awkward not knowing where to stand. Appalling, is there really that little money on the NHS?

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the upstairs waiting area felt overcrowded—we understand this can be uncomfortable. While space and seating are limited, we will continue to monitor the situation and do our best to manage it more effectively. Kind Regards, Julie Taylor - Operations Manager

Right on time. Spoke calmly and clearly, patient and allowed me time to express myself. Sounded very kind and respectful.

  10. Review titled Appointments

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 May 2025

Had 2 appointments cancelled 2 days in a row, both for reviews, one was classed as diabetic, I am not diabetic, it should be been for asthma!!! Big mistake to make in my opinion. Staff need to read what they are sending and make sure they have the correct patient and details. Was sent as link to make a new appointment but there was no appointments available, thankfully I spoke to the asthma nurse who apologised for the error and told me I don’t need an appointment as long as I can give a recent BP reading next Wednesday for my medication review.
