    Patford House is one of the worst GP surgeries I’ve ever had the misfortune of being registered with. Unfortunately I can’t register anywhere else due to my location. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Trying to get an appointment is nigh on impossible. A recent comment I had from a staff member when trying to fit an appointment in around my work schedule was ‘we have many patients Amy and you are not a priority’ I am aware of the pressures on the NHS, but no one should be treated so rudely by anyone. I would never recommend anyone to register with this surgery.

    My telephone medication review was conducted at the time stated, the pharmacist was knowledgeable and empathetic, had read my notes and was able to give useful advice.

    I had an appointment today at the surgery with a nurse she was fantastic kept me relaxed and friendly and helpful. Talked me through everything she was doing and made sure I had quality care.

    3 days of back and forth to help answer a medical query I had. A phone call made resulted in me saying loosing my patience as the other person sounded like a robot reading from a script. Totally uncaring admin/appointments team. The telephone appointment they did make for me they didn’t tell me about so I missed it. Then they said on Friday morning that they couldn’t pos get a telephone appointment or even email from dr until Monday. I said I’d been worried for 3 days now but I just got an automated reply. When I did lose my patience I did not swear and I did not threaten but I did raise my voice slightly. The reply was a ‘no reply’ email informing me that abusive behaviour wouldn’t be tolorated. Aside from that one annoyed sentence I was pushed to make - I had been polite throughout. It felt passive aggressive. Also given the nature of my query about very heavy bleeding for 3 days - you’d think they’d maybe slightly more caring than sending me an educational video on how to be polite. Respect works both ways. If you can get through to a dr past the gate keepers they are amazing at this practice.
