Review titled Good practice
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 May 2025
I requested a prescription which is not on my repeat and had a message to say a practitioner would be calling me. I did receive a further message giving a time of call and had a call on time. I was asked questions about my request and felt it was a good and thorough check to make sure I needed it and that it was correct for me. Very happy with the care and polite call. Thank you

Felt the doctor consulted understood the situation, gave informative advice and offered a suitable solution and treatment plan. He also followed up with a telephone call as promised. Very reassuring - competent and empathetic.

The pharmacist was very good. She listened and took on board what had happened in the previous 24hours and advised me on how and when my medication changes would change.

The GP I saw took their time to listen to my concerns and talked me through their thoughts on my best course of action for me. It was nice to be given the time. I didn't feel rushed or pressurised.

Review titled Excellent GP practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Natalie - Posted on 20 May 2025
I’ve had several appointments recently due to ongoing issues with a herniated disc, and I can’t speak highly enough of the care I’ve received. The practice has been fantastic — appointments were arranged quickly with no long waiting times, which was a huge relief while dealing with severe pain. The GP took the time to really listen, offered clear advice on pain management, and guided me through the referral process for my upcoming discectomy and nerve blocker treatment. I felt genuinely supported and well-informed throughout. Highly recommend this practice for their compassionate and efficient care.

Review titled Dr Review (Nurse Practitioner - I think)
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 May 2025
My review call was within in time slot allowed. But I found the NP didn't speak clearly and I had to ask her to repeat her questions several times before I could understand what she was saying. In the end I ended up agreeing with her just to end the call. Not really a satisfactory situation at all. I got fed up with continually asking her to repeat what she had just said. I agreed to have medication that I'm not happy about - asked three times what it was called (instead of statins) and still couldn't understand what she called it. I guess I will find out when I pick it up from the chemists - read a side effects and decide whether I want to take it or not

Review titled how not to treat people
Rated 1 star out of 5
by stuart ritchie - Posted on 19 May 2025
first I was told that my appointment was between 10 and 11 am. The doctor phoned me at 10 to 10 after I received an email saying that it was 940 to 1140. He didn’t say his name. It was a bad reception his end he was very abrupt and came across quite arrogant. I explained the problems and asked whether I needed to go back on the antibiotics I was told no not at all and I should keep putting the cream and that if it wasn’t working then to get in contact with them a week later I felt at the time I was having a lecture I am 70 years old now it reminded me of when I was seven so not really a good idea so if they want to employ doctors like this, I suggest they keep them out of the front line because his bedside manner was shocking

Review titled Excellent Communication
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lynne Syme - Posted on 15 May 2025
I asked for a telephone conversation with a Clinician. The lady I spoke to was so empathetic and caring. I felt understood and cared for. Excellent communication from this practice. I was left feeling heard and confident that my health issue would be addressed and managed between both myself and the Clinician I spoke with. Well done Patford House Partnership.

Review titled No chairs

Upstairs waiting room there is only 3 chairs. There was 6 people in there at one point, and people felt awkward not knowing where to stand. Appalling, is there really that little money on the NHS?
