    I have been with this surgery over 27 years. I have never had a problem there. It is sometimes difficult to get through on the phone especially at 8am but once through reception staff are kind and helpful. Triage Nurse is helpful and understanding and will get you an appointment with a doctor if necessary. All staff including Doctors, Nurses and Phlebotamist are kind and caring. My last appointment was dealt with professionally and I came away with no worries.

    Firstly the Nurse in room 5! I have a life saving injection every 3 months, she did it today, didn't feel a thing!, a very caring and respectful nurse. Secondly the receptionist at Crusader! Sorted out a double physio appointment for my wife without fuss and bother! It felt to me as if we really have started to care about what patients really need.

    I’ve been registered at this practice since I was a baby, and I can honestly say it is the worst doctor’s surgery. You get a nice person from time to time, but overall this place can never get anything right for me. I have to have a paper prescription written for a repeat medication every month, due to a supply issue, and every month it’s a complete nightmare just to get it. Today (23/05/2024) I have had to go to both North Road Surgery and Crusader Surgery to try and collect my paper prescription, because the receptionist at North Road told me it was at Crusader, but the receptionist at Crusader told me it was at North Road. I collect my prescription and head to the pharmacy to collect, and there I’m told that my prescription paper hasn’t actually been signed!! I’m told this after the surgery has closed, so I’ll have to drive to the surgery again and attempt to get it signed, which will probably take another day. And that’s just one example. If I could move to another practice, I would, but this is the only one where I live.

    Since the overhaul on appointments Crusader surgery/North Road has really improved. A triage system is now in place and 100% better for getting assisted with appointment either in person or telephone call the same day. Had face to face appointment today and came away with good clear information on moving forward with medication ....I've always thought GPS are excellent here and the new appointment system is making it much more accessible to actually be seen or assisted the same day.

    My sister and her children are registered at Crusader Surgery, Clacton. I have been asked to contact the surgery on behalf of my sister as she works at a school and is not allowed access to her phone to book appointments or other services. The line is busy from 8am and takes hours for anyone to answer, then you can’t book an appointment in advance. Rarely can you get an appointment on the day. Basically it’s practically impossible to get an appointment. There is no provision for full time workers to get an appointment out of business hours. I could go on and on about the absolute shambles of a surgery. It makes my blood boil every time I need to phone them for my sister. Thank goodness this surgery is not mine. I would not recommend this surgery. Dreadful place.

    Good Morning, we are always working towards easy accessibility for patients to access the surgery. The other form of contacting the surgery to arrange an appointment is visiting our website ncmghealth.co.uk/dashboard you can request an appointment at the time the suits. It is monitored 3 times a day. Most workers use this system to request medication, appointments and any queries. Hope this will make your accessibility easier for the future.

    I am extremely impressed with the measures the surgery are putting in place to make it easier for us to get appointments. I recently called and spoke to a triage nurse who was extremely helpful, it prevented me making an unnecessary appointment.

    The surgery have adapted a new triage system which enables same day appointments. Great service from booking appointment, getting a call from triage nurse and being booked with correct clinican.

    It seems that the North Clacton Medical Group are striving to improve the service they provide. My recent visit was everything I would expect of a professional caring service. Much improved on my past experience of this group, hope the improvements continue. Additionally, there seemed to be an increased focus on punctuality. In the past, I had experienced excessive delays and had to spend an unreasonable amount of time waiting to be seen by a healthcare professional. However, on this visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the minimal waiting time. As soon as I checked in, I was promptly called in and attended to by a friendly and attentive nurse. The medical staff themselves appeared to be more engaged and proactive. The doctors and nurses took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, addressing each of them in a compassionate and professional manner. They exhibited a genuine interest in my well-being, ensuring that all my questions were answered and providing thorough explanations. This level of personalized care made me feel valued as a patient and reassured me that my health was in good hands. Another improvement I noticed was the incorporation of advanced technology and updated medical equipment. This not only enhanced the accuracy of diagnostic tests but also increased the efficiency of the entire process. The medical group's commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare technology is commendable and clearly reflected in the improved service. Reflecting on my past experiences with the North Clacton Medical Group, it is evident that they have made significant strides towards providing a better service. The efforts they have put into revamping their facilities, ensuring punctuality, enhancing staff-patient interactions, and incorporating modern technology have not gone unnoticed. I genuinely hope that these improvements will continue and that the medical group remains committed to delivering exceptional healthcare to their patients. In conclusion, my recent visit to the North Clacton Medical Group was an extraordinary experience.     I am very impressed with the new triage system, was able to get through the surgery very quickly and the staff I spoke to over the phone was extremely helpful and friendly. I was called back by a lovely nurse within 15 minutes. The nurse was very compassionate and took time to answer all of my questions.
