Review titled Poor Communication
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 10 April 2024
No information or communication on where to go for a Physio appointment. Eventually found out it was in the carparks portacabin. Not good enough, as I was now late by 30mins after waiting in reception & therefore had limited time reduction with the Physio.

Review titled Why does it take over 4 days to approve a repeat script

Advised by NHS app to allow 72 hrs for a prescription to be authorised sent Sunday and still not authorised on Friday morning. Needed lengthy wait to phone and enquire. Happens regularly

Review titled Repeat Prescriptions
Rated 1 star out of 5

Why oh why is it that every month something goes wrong with repeat prescriptions?? Either Moorlands haven’t sent all my med requirements through to pharmacy, the medication has been ‘removed’ from repeat, therefore I have to order, but haven’t been notified of this change, or they haven’t informed me that my meds need to be reviewed, etc, etc. It is always the patient that has to do the running around in order to rectify matters. Moorlands are hopeless; their procedures need to be re-thought and improved. Now!

Review titled Very inefficient
Rated 1 star out of 5

During an appointment I asked GP to sign a local council form to confirm my parent (it was her appointment) had dementia. GP ask me to take it to reception to be stamped. At reception form was passed between 3 members of staff before final one pronounced we get hundreds of these I’ll put in the pile. When some polite questions by me I was told it will likely take 6 weeks. The justification being the member of staff only does them on weekends. Very poor inefficient service for vulnerable patients.

Review titled Poor communication

I had blood tests carried out with regards to cancer screening. I have had no communication from the surgery with regards to the results. I then went onto my NHS app and found them there. the news was good. with these sort of test results there should be a telephone call to put the patient at ease, not make the patient worry more that they should.

Review titled Wasted time
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I filled in an e consultation on July 1st but had not heard anything by July 8th. I rang up and was told by the receptionist that I needed a face to face consultation. At the consultation the doctor said that I needed a blood test. No examination, so why did I need to go to the surgery when I could have been told this over the phone. Waste of my time and fuel and waste of doctors time. Surgery not as good as it was.
