We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with text message advice following your request for a face-to-face appointment. All feedback helps us understand what we are doing right and where we can make improvements, and your feedback allows us to do just that. While we ask patients for a preference of face-to-face, telephone, video, or text message advice, these unfortunately are not guaranteed. We always try to accommodate patient preferences as best we can, ultimately the allocation of these appointments is dictated by our GP-Led Triage Team following their clinical assessment of patient needs and our appointment availability. We apologise you have been made to feel this means we do not care about you as a person, but each decision is made with our patients’ best interests, and clinical advice can often be delivered by text message or telephone without a face-to-face appointment.     Getting an appointment for my father was still not without its difficulties, requiring chasing up a couple of times. However, during the appointment, the care and attention given to him by the GP was fantastic. She had briefed herself beforehand, listened intently to him and offered several avenues of treatment. We couldn’t ask for better care. Thank you.

    Short notice referral to have an ECG followed by an appointment with the Doctor. I found the professionalism and care second to none. I feel lucky to have such a good medical practice available to me.

    I have been very well looked after with regard to my asthma on all occasions and I have no complaints. My asthma has been fully described to me including the use of the inhaler. My initial inhaler caused excessive mucus so I had to change to another one which seems a lot better although l still get quite a lot of mucas but not as much as the other inhaler.

    I visited the practice for the first time last week for a blood test. The practitioner was very friendly and welcoming. She took my blood test and I wasn’t left with a bruise which does often happen when I have blood taken

    I had a face to face appointment with a nurse practitioner. I was seen very quickly no waiting around . Was prescribed antibiotics which has resolve problem.

    It is very difficult to make an appointment. The website they use takes a long time to create an appointment, and while waiting to be connected by phone, the appointment time period passes and they say to try tomorrow. I am not happy with this. The doctors and nurses are good.

    I came to the surgery bright & early to drop in a sample. It wasn’t overly obvious where to leave the sample. I waited near the reception desk whilst the receptionist helped a patient. Another lady appeared behind the desk, who looked at me then totally ignored me. The polite professional thing to have done would have been to acknowledge me, as a patient. Shockingly bad manners! Think this person could do with some training.
