My GP really took her time explaining health information to help improve my health issues. I feel relaxed and happy coming to GP surgery- Maybush Medical Centre.

Difficult to access the practice by telephone and difficult to obtain an appointment. The repeat prescription system is great although the last repeat was altered by someone to one month for two drugs rather than three months as per the rest. That caused a need to require a doctor to alter the script back to three months. Once past the telephone problem the doctor is great provided that I get to see the same doctor every time.

Sorry you have had problems getting through to us on the phone. We handle approximately 700-800 calls per week, so we know it can sometimes be difficult to get through. Most patients calls between 8am and 11am so may we suggest you call after 12 noon when the phone lines are much quieter, and if you can avoid the Monday morning scrum! :-) You could also use our new online consultation service called PATCHS. A link is available from the home page on our website. Thank you for sharing your experience.

On Monday 06 /03/2024 I had an appointment with a Doctor at Maybush after my consultation he said he thought I needed to go to hospital quickly as it was suspected I may have a bleed on my brain he rung for an ambulance and within 10 mins they arrived .I would just like to thank the Doctor ( shame I'm not allowed to name ) and the staff member who was so kind .We have such a wonderful practice at Maybush who really do care about their patients ....Thank you souch

I used patches this morning for my son as he has ongoing issues with his tonsils , I got a reply very quickly with a appiontment, went only waiting 2 minutes and was seen and sorted within 5 minute .

I am very happy with my service at the surgery I had been ill for a while then doctor sent me for a xray where they found something then I was sent for a ct scan from which they found I had cancer I am so grateful to Dr sadia for sending me to hospital.

Was quick at sorting my little boy out after asking other doctors to help me And wanting to help where possible and will get to the problem with further tests if needed

Having been discharged from hospital 2 weeks prior, I was still experiencing symptoms and went back to the surgery as advised. Dr s.h was superb; extremely professional and she took the time to listen and progress my case. She called the hospital and secured a same day referral which was reassuring and I would not hesitate to recommend Maybush and Dr s.h. I feel extremely lucky to have her as my GP and look forward to the surgery’s continued success.

Great Practice and always very helpful. I have found that there is confusion when I mention the NHS App and its capability - for instance in ordering prescriptions and adding prescription items to the app by staff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are pleased that you find the Practice always helpful. All our staff are here to help to the best of our ability. The NHS app is a fairly new entity which is forever developing so some of our new starters are not as familiar with its capabilities as others. We have spent a lot of time promoting the use of the NHS app with patients, but on reflection we have failed to educate our new staff about its valuable uses. Thank you for raising this issue with us. We will factor in some training and education for our new starters so that patients can be confident that our knowledge of its interoperability with our systems is improved.
