    Trying to book an appointment to see a doctor Cannot get through on the phone so try to book through the internet Says they will phone in 48 hours Now over 84 hours and no call I doubt they ever intend to phone just a good way if delaying appointments This surgery needs to be closed down They are accepting money from the government under false pretences

    Dear Anonymous patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you had poor experience. There is a queue on the telephone during certain times of the day. We do have the facility for you to leave a message by selecting an extension for certain tasks so as to decrease the queue. However for all appointment requests through the internet ( using our website link "Contact us online"), we sent a text with link to appointment within 24 hours. I have checked and our data shows that we have contacted every patient who has requested an appointment through internet in the last few days. Since you have posted the review anonymously I can't look into it further but am happy to provide you more information if you contact us with your details. kind regards, Practice Manager

    The new layout of the surgery is so much better than the old one. Staff were very friendly and the doctor really listened to my concerns and was able to help me. Also managing to get an in person appointment in 4 days was excellent. Thank you Lynwood!

    The staff was friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The doctor was attentive, thorough, and took the time to address all my concerns. The facility was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I highly recommend this practice for their professionalism and commitment to patient care.

    was taken ill with chest infection - hospital told me to go to the gp to have a lung function test. went to the gp this morning and ask for an appointment for a test - receptionist rude and ignorant saying we do not do them - as if i thought they were capable - the doctor does them - really she then told me there were no appointment and i would have to phone after 4pm why are people like her being employed as receptionists because they are not interested in the job and just bring the surgery ratings down p. harvey

    Dear P Harvey, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and I'm sincerely sorry to hear about your recent experience at our practice. Your health and comfort are our top priorities, and I deeply regret that we fell short of meeting your expectations. It is essential that every patient feels respected and cared for. We will be addressing this issue directly with our staff in the next staff meeting to ensure that our values of compassion and professionalism are upheld in every interaction. Regarding the lung function test, I understand the frustration this situation has caused. These tests are done using specialised equipment and you should have been clearly informed that your GP can refer you to a specialized clinic where this can be done. I will review our communication procedures to prevent such misunderstandings in the future. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we continually strive to improve our services. We are also working closely with hospitals and other healthcare partners to streamline the referral process, making it as straightforward and stress-free as possible for our patients so that you are referred directly and not sent to GP just to be referred.
