Seen at The Hub in Lynwood one evening, the appointment was arranged very quickly from my initial phonecall. The receptionists are very polite, helpful & professional. I was assessed & referred to hospital department, the NHS app worked well keeping me informed of appointments. Phone calls are dealt with efficiently by reception staff. The practice nurse & gp's are always helpful & respectful either on the phone or face to face. I have been a patient at this practice since 1986 at it has gone from strength to strength.

I’ve tried calling this GP practice five times today, and still haven’t been able to speak to anyone. The phone system is overly complicated, with too many recorded options, and even after selecting the correct one (option 5), no one picks up. It’s extremely frustrating that online appointments are still not enabled in 2025, when almost everything else in healthcare is now digital. All I wanted to do was book my child’s 3 years and 4 months immunisation, but I couldn’t get through by phone, and after choosing to be called back, I still haven’t received a response. This really makes me question the value of being registered with this practice if accessing basic services is so difficult. I hope the management reviews this system urgently, as it’s failing patients who simply want timely and essential care.

I am extremely devastated that I booked my daughter’s appointment today on 8 March 2025 at 10:30am. They are now saying that the receptionist didn’t complete the procedure and there is no appointment available. My daughter has been unwell for last 5 days and they are still unwilling to see her. I am very disappointed and they should have followed the procedure.

Needed to see doctor once in many months- years. Telephone was answered in about 3 minutes, not bad. Got appointment for next day. Telephone consultation by a nice doctor. Prescription sent immediately to the pharmacy near my workplace. Overall a quick, efficient and polite service. Decent service overall by receptionists and doctors and in a decent building. Not bad at all given the horror stories we hear in the news about GP services.

Needed to discuss a women's problem. Requested receptionist for a woman doctor. The nice receptionist went to check and came back to say the only lady doctor would see me as an extra at the end of the clinic. I thought I might have to wait for a couple of hours. However one of her patients did not turn up so she saw me after a wait of 15 minutes. fantastic. She listened to me carefully, examined me gently and gave me a few options. Felt very comfortable and listened to. Great Surgery and a great team.

This surgery is a complete waste of time Used the internet to book an appointment Someone is supposed to phone in 2 days Now 4 days but no phone call I see the surgery is still taking on new patients They cannot cope with the ones they have This surgery is everything that is wrong with the NHS Just take the money for the new patients and to hell with the old patients I supposer nothing will change though

I’ve been with Lynwood Medical Centre for 21 years since moving to the area. Today I visited the surgery and booked appts for myself and my husband, collected blood test forms and was helped with gaining access to the NHS Online App! Brilliant, friendly and so helpful!

The Dr's, nurses and reception staff that I have delat are amazing. Each taking their time to discuss and support me. During two recent visits, one with the nurse and one with the Doctor I didn't feel rushed or insignificant, they listen and offer great advice. Thank You

Twice i have tried to get an appointment using online booking Complete waste of time No one phones you back It says they will phone in 48 hours , they probably mean 48 weeks I have been into the surgery to try to make an appointment but the condescending reception refused but she did wish me "a nice day" It says in the government website that you can walk in an book an appointment but not here you cannot Absolute disgusting way to run a surgery but then again all the other doctors in Romford are no better The NHS , the envy of the world, you have got to be joking , Even 3rd world countries would not envy the service this bunch delivers

Dear Anonymous patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you had poor experience. However for all appointment requests submitted through the internet (using our website link "Contact us online"), the message the patient gets after submission is that "A member of the team will review this request within 2 working days". We review the request within 1 day and we sent a text with link to appointment within 24 hours. I have checked and our data shows that we have contacted every patient who has requested an appointment through internet in the last few days.
