    I called the doctors first thing for my little boy who has conjunctivitis. I was through to a receptionist within 10 minutes and as soon as I got off the phone a nurse practitioner called me back. They were very thorough on the phone and have prescribed the medication without me having to go into the surgery. Very helpful and brilliant service throughout.

    I tried to get an appointment on several occasions in July for a non urgent issue. Each time I was told by the receptionist to call back as no routine appointments available, only urgent appointments. I didn't want to take up an urgent slot but after several failed attempts at trying to book a routine appointment I was offered a urgent telephone slot. The GP called back that day and then brought me in for a face to face appointment and bloods and the service I received from the GP was very good. However, I then called back a few weeks later to try and book a follow up routine appointment and was again told there were no routine appointments available until September and that these could not be booked yet and to call back again next week!

    Thank you for your feedback regarding the availability of routine appointments at our practice. We are aware of the impact that the lack of routine appointments is having on our patients, and please be assured that we are doing everything that we can do to improve our service. We have recently appointed a Nurse Practitioner and we are actively looking for another GP to join the team.
