  1. Review titled Lovely first visit with nurse

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I was so impressed with the care and energy of the nurse who completed my registration at the surgery. Such a reassuring person made me feel I had made a good decision. Seeing someone in person makes all the difference. Thank you.

  2. Review titled Great staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have visited the tree clinic 3 times during the past few years for fitting and for some problems with my IUD. The experience is always fantastic, everyone is very nice and welcoming and the staff is always ready to answer questions. They went above and beyond when I needed to have my IUD refitted after a scan, trying to see me again as soon as possible within the hour.

I had my cervical screening and all us women know how uncomfortable and nervous we can be about this so I am very grateful that the fantastic nurse was knowledgeable and efficient, she got on with it and we were done in no time. Thank you so much. I totally recommend this surgery the awesome reception staff as well for the ongoing efforts they do to make sure you get the help you need. And of course the wonderful doctors that have been supporting my family (the 5 of us) with our varying needs over the years.

  4. Review titled Efficient and effective responsive service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Camilla Hawkins - Posted on 10 May 2023

I had a telephone consultation on 19/8/22 to discuss some word finding difficulties I'd been experiencing over the previous week or so. I was not too concerned as I'd been experiencing word finding difficulties along with fatigue, since April 2022 when I had covid. The GP took a careful history and recommended that I present to the Emergency Department at the RLH. I did so, and was admitted that night. I spent a total of 3 weeks on various wards. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with a multi focal glioblastoma multiforme, a brain cancer which cannot be cured, only managed and has a limited life expectancy. However, I believe that prompt action and skilled clinical decision making undoubtedly contributed to prompt intervention from other clinical services. This has enabled intervention from primary services, leading to me having maximum chances within a terminal diagnosis. During my inpatient admission I received a number of follow up telephone consultations from the practice, and found this reassuring, in a highly stressful situation. I have subsequently experienced empathy and skill in a face to face consultation and in clinically evaluating and considering prescription requests and other administration. Thank you to the whole team, but especially the GP trainee whom I had the telephone consultation with. The whole practice team has been helpful every time I have contacted them regarding requests such as repeat prescriptions. I appreciate that I am in a horrible situation but prompt investigation of the problem and the skill of neurosurgical, medical and neuro-oncology teams - has contributed to the best possible outcome for me, in an inevitably distressing situation.

  5. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had to visit Lime Tree Surgery daily for over a month due to surgery. Both nurses at the surgery were absolutely great. Always had time to listen to any concerns. The doctors are great. I have managed to have face to face appointments when needed. The receptionists are always very helpful when visiting or phoning the surgery.

  6. Review titled Fantastic Reception Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Lime Tree Surgery in Leytonstone, has an amazing Reception Team, who go over and above for all the patients that come in. From the moment the team are together, they are very supportive, giving correct information and always pointing patients in the right direction. Always greeting everyone with a smile and always willing to help, we are currently going through cancer within the family, even though the team are always professional, the team always seems to have a flair about them that makes you think and feel positive about everything. Well done to Lime Tree Surgery for having an amazing team.
