    A mostly terrible experience so far. It seems I’d be more likely to see a unicorn walking down the street than getting an appointment! I visited a walk in clinic about some minors symptoms I was experiencing in January. They advised giving it some time then seeing my GP if they haven’t cleared. After 6 weeks I tried to get an appointment but the online system consistently stated they weren’t accepting new appointment requests currently. After 2 weeks of sporadically checking at alternative times, unable to get an appointment, I walked in to the surgery to book an appointment… But seen as it was after 3pm, they told me they can’t help. They did inform me the link from then surgery’s website doesn’t work and they gave me the correct link (why does the website take you here!?). I filled out the link with details requested (quoting the doctor I saw at the walk in) only to be told I haven’t provided enough info. I didn’t reply to the request for more info within the 6 hour window (I was working and didn’t have my phone with me) so they shut my case and I would have to try again the next day. I was however referred for blood tests. I went and got them within two days, yet heard nothing about the results. I did however get a call from a receptionist telling me I needed additional bloods. They wouldn’t tell me why and wouldn’t put me through to a doctor to discuss why. When I went in for the additional test I discussed the case with the phlebotomist and she suggested I definitely need to see a doctor. I called 111 who suggested I need to see a GP, they referred me to a phone GP who then told me they can’t do anything for me and I need to see my GP in person. That was 3 weeks ago and I’ve not heard anything from my GP or had any test results back! That’s 2 doctors, 1 phlebotomist and 1 111 call centre operative all telling me I need to see a GP, yet I can’t get an appointment. I’m technologically competent and willing to chase. I hate to think what it’s like for people who struggle with technology! I get that they are probably stretched, but this is beyond a terrible level of service!

    I use this practice for few months and only have been seen for nurse appointments due to injections. Never ever have been seen on time. Nursing team was always minimum 40 minutes late. I made complaint and this not change anything. On my last appointment I spoke with one receptionist regarding a blood test and she cutted me off when I was talking and after telling her to allow me talk she was angry. Three receptionists started to gossip about me when I sat down. One of them asked if I am even registered there. I never met that unprofessional staff in NHS before. I was treated nice by nure, however her room was that messy like camper after 2 months camping. Her private stuff from handbag was everywhere on the desk. Floor looks like did not clean in this century. I feel sorry that other patients needs to deal with them. I just unregistered myself. Tragedy.

    Phoned at 8am for an urgent appointment and got through after a few tries (as usual) and could book for the same day. Friendly welcome at reception, helpful too when my 5-year-old needed the toilet just before the appointment time. Doctor was also friendly and able to help with clear advice and professional approach. Appointment made a big difference, just a couple of days before Christmas - very glad to have had it.

    Upon my last visit (21st Dec) I received an excellent service the doctor. I was able to easily discuss all my concerns and received full answers to my questions. She was attentive, an excellent listener, and spoke in laypersons language. Professional throughout.

    First of my calls: there were no appointments available for the next two days. Thank god it was only flu and I didn't need any prescriptions. When I phoned them again the next week (as they advised me) to get a sick note certificate since I've lost more than 7 working days, I dealt with a rude and unprofessional receptionist. I didn't get any sick note then.

    They are so good patience I was being looked after by Nurse . She advised me she was so good. She really make me calm so my blood pressure was high drop. She is good overall from the reception and the doctors and nurses. They are the best she give me lots of advice had to go about my illness and everything we are the best

    I attended for a couple of vaccinations from the surgery. The visit was extremely speedy and professional. The whole process was explained clearly and with care. The nurse who administered my ‘jabs’ had a lovely attitude and made me feel at ease. A young person just starting their career in medicine who should be encouraged and praised. Thank you

    I have always found the staff at Lawrence House surgery. The doctors really listen to your issues and try their best for you. I was so pleased when the GP referred my son to the paediatric department and booked me an appointment within a month. I can't fault their service and their efforts.
