When u make an appointment which is very hard to do so u don't expect to wait for half hr or so .some of us make appointments in dinner break for work but the drs don't cater for the workers only those at home all day and it's the workers that keep the NHS alive .

Been seeing the female pharmacist at this surgery for a while to sort high blood pressure. Very understanding and helpful. Tried a few different medications with a blood test for kidneys after 2 weeks of each new medication. Finally sorted.

Despite a mix up with booking the appointment, I was seen by Ema. She was extremely pleasant, very helpful, quite open in discussion, and overall, it was a pleasure to have an appointment with Ema.

I had an appointment early afternoon and was prepared to wait for a while as this is the norm but was surprised to be seen only 5 mins after my appointment time had passed, so was happy with the service. Doctors were polite and helpful. But was not aware that you were only allowed 10 mins per appointment, as I had a lot to discuss. So had to arrange for another appointment at a later date!

I am very much satisfied with The Doctor I met on the 10th of April, 2025. I am also satisfied with other Doctors of Lawrence Hill Health Centre that I met earlier.

On my last visit for a blood test I found the contact I have been well informed and the whole staff from administration to medical staff have performed their duties with kindness, and professional actions.

I had two appointments, one for annual blood tests, one for a chronic shoulder issue. The nurse for the former was friendly, professional and informative when I had questions - as she is every year. The GP for the other was also excellent - again, as they always are. Listened to the issue, took time to explore options, explained how the problem manifests. Now have further appointment for physio triage and on the list for a steroid injection. However, I need to feed back that it is almost impossible to get an appointment unless you go in - every time for the last year or more, when I try through the NHS app, the website or Patient Direct, it always says no appointments... Not even for weeks in advance. I showed this to the nurse on my phone, so it isn't just a technical hitch. I only got the appointment because I was sent a special link by the health centre after several emails because the response to a scan for my shoulder was completely at odds with what the consultant at the BRI had said. This was not the centre's fault - the communication from the consultant to the GP was extremely vague. But having no appointments available is an issue - it was 10 weeks between the scan and speaking to a GP about the injection and physio.

I request a duty doctor phone call after a couple of visits to A&E this happened on the evening the the request was made. After discussing my situation an appointment was made the following day. The GP managed to clarify my condition and gave me some clear options with referrals and medication good experience.
