Review titled Poor practices
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 26 April 2025
Care from staff was very good and reception staff were helpful. However, the clinicians room was very untidy with old gloves on the desk, old trolly bed paper on the floor, drawers with equipment left open and an open, used urine sample left on the side! To top it off, having to wait 20 minutes for the clinician to go and consult with the doctor while I waited with a wriggly and bored toddler in the clinician’s unkempt room was far from ideal

Review titled Disappointing
Rated 1 star out of 5

Failed over several attempts to get an appointment, finally resorting to writing a letter. Got a telephone call and done progress. Now I'm in limbo, awaiting either action or a conclusion, currently have neither......

Thank you for your positive review. We are glad that you have such a good experieice of using the surgery's services. We are aware that it can take a while for the phones to be answered, especially at busy times, but there is a call back service you can choose. This means that you can then put the phone down and do not have to wait on the line in person, but your position in the call queue will be retained and the system will automatically call you back once your call is nearing the front of the queue. Perhaps try that for greater convenience.

Review titled postpartum visits - Postpartum depression
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I am happy with the quality of the service regarding after birth visit. It seems that the team is taking measures for my depression situation. Although I would say the responses for referrals are taking so long, which is not about GP center follow up but mainly specialist shortage

Recent experience has been good and doctor attentive. The waiting to get through on telephone can take time but there is a ring back service.

Review titled I received urgent help
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Carol - Posted on 13 March 2025
I was in acute pain, I couldn't walk, my GP made a home visit. I was given medication, and then a referral was made for me to have an x-ray done. The response to my request was quick and efficient and was dealt with urgency. I thank the admin staff and doctors for their support and advice and help during my crisis. Thank you very much ❤️ five star 🌟 🤩.

Phones can take a while to be answered, especially at busy times. We do however offer a call-back service. If you choose this option, you can put the phone down and the system will automatically call you back once your call is nearing the front of the queue. I am not sure what gives you the impression that staff wish to get through speaking to you quickly. If you are referring to reception staff, they may well need to try to keep the call short as are likely to have other calls waiting to be answered. If you are referring to the clinicians, then they will spend as long as is needed to deal thoroughly with the issue you are contacting us about. They too may have a full workload, but generally have not been known to rush a consultation. I am sorry if you have received this impression.
