Review titled Awful with appointment system
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 May 2025
Unlike other surgeries where you can book appointments in advance because it may not be urgent or life threatening. This surgery only allows you to book appointments on the day at 8am or 1pm. You call them and they tell you they can’t book anymore appointments but you can call 111 to get a slot with the surgery! I have tried calling the surgery 3days in a row, was also told to do e-consult! Tried waiting for an econsult Thursday morning at 8am they said try again Friday morning, Friday at 07:59 it said e-consult will be release from Friday 8:00am. On Friday 08:00am they have no availability till Tuesday 08:00am! I did not even get a chance… moreover I have a full time job. I can’t be sitting by the phone at 8am, 1pm just to be on a Q and not get an appointment 3 days in a row!

Review titled Terrible Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionists, they do not care about their patients. Very difficult to get an appointment and will never be seen by an actual doctor, they just get a physician associate to examine your problem and they can’t even prescribe medication without doctor approval. Any time I have gone in for a problem they never solve it and take extremely long to respond. This GP surgery needs to be investigated and completely changed with its staff and appointment system.

Review titled Poor practices

Care from staff was very good and reception staff were helpful. However, the clinicians room was very untidy with old gloves on the desk, old trolly bed paper on the floor, drawers with equipment left open and an open, used urine sample left on the side! To top it off, having to wait 20 minutes for the clinician to go and consult with the doctor while I waited with a wriggly and bored toddler in the clinician’s unkempt room was far from ideal

Review titled Disappointing

Failed over several attempts to get an appointment, finally resorting to writing a letter. Got a telephone call and done progress. Now I'm in limbo, awaiting either action or a conclusion, currently have neither......

Thank you for your positive review. We are glad that you have such a good experieice of using the surgery's services. We are aware that it can take a while for the phones to be answered, especially at busy times, but there is a call back service you can choose. This means that you can then put the phone down and do not have to wait on the line in person, but your position in the call queue will be retained and the system will automatically call you back once your call is nearing the front of the queue. Perhaps try that for greater convenience.
