A life Safer Surgery. I thought I was dead but they gave me Life. My GP has been giving me hope and also taking care of how my health will be better and also my children. My GP is my family in this country. I thank my Doctor alot. She has been their for me and making me feel better all the time. Bless her. Me and my children are saying a big Thank You to My Doctor.

I just managed to go from number 7 to me being next over the phone to reception. I answer and tell them why I'm calling, then the receptionist asks me what my date of birth is and for a second I accidentally press the 'mute' button on my phone. I hear her only once say 'hello', doesn't even give me a bit of time to unmute myself and answer, and just hangs up!! Imagine that happening to a vulnerable and sick old man/ woman who can barely use their phone or have a hearing problem! Then I try to give feedback about this online and it doesn't let you do it unless you're posting a positive feedback. Absolute joke.

I have a phobia with needles and visiting hospiitals. However both the nurse and the doctor were very empathetic and patient explaining into details the need to attend all my appintments and all need the necessary checks and referred me to other services to help with my condition.

Even though our family lives nearby and this is our local healthcare provider, we don't usually get hold of a GP, or there are no appointments left after waiting on the phone queue, and most of the time I end up calling 111 for help and guidance, and have to take my 4 year old twins to the hospital a&e just to be prescribed antibiotics. This poor local healthcare service is costing our family quite a lot of stress and money, also my sons are staying longer on the mend because of the delay in care, we have to spendhalf day at a&e with unwell kid (pay for taxi to commute to/from hospital), and take kids off nursery to recover, also pay private nanny for their care. All this could be reduce or avoided just if we had received care in time. If we had proper care and attention from the Lakeside Medical Practice we need at the time when kids are unwell, there wouldn't be such a long recovery time for them, no wasting of 111 and a&e staff resources!!, and our time. I believe this practice needs better management of their staff and diaries or registering less new patients to manage the care of their existing patients in proper and timely manner.

My visit from first entering the Practice from the Great Reception Team to My Gp Consultation I was given a Professional First Class Service and High Standard Consultation and left Very Pleased with all my Care and Needs taken care off .

The nurse was vey nice welcoming and helpful while been professional.the front desk too were also professional and attend to you as soon as they can . The GP who attended to me was also very nice ,welcoming and took her time to explain things and made me feel at ease Overall it was a good experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to go there if I need to or recommend the place .

I was given prompt attention by the Reception. The environment was neat and attractive. My consultant was friendly and courteous. She gave me another appointment for the following day again based on her finding on the first day. Her action gave me further positive impression about the Practice

The receptionist here are very rude, they do not treat people kindly, they are not helpful, you have to be standing there and they won’t even acknowledge you, be asking them questions and get a very rude response and look. Major let down as the other medical staffs do their best to be helpful and kind to the patients. They should be ashamed working in a people facing job. It’s just awful that you get treated that way, especially when you also work in healthcare and facing patients each day and treat them with dignity and respect, then you get treated so badly in the same area you work for. I hope the management send them for training on how to treat people with dignity and respect especially in this diverse place. And if they really cannot stand treating people kindly, maybe they should look for another job where they do not need to face people, because from the look of it, they are not capable of doing their job right.

I didnt have any difficulties booking an appointment, I was seen on time and the doctor really listened to my concerns. She gave me advice, offered me treatment and made referrals for aftercare. I really was impressed and happy to be seen by this very professional young doctor. She made a world of difference to me.
