I keep checking online to book a GP appointment but there is never anything there, there is also nothing for a phone review. I checked with reception a few weeks ago & told book online. Other than seeing a nurse 2 weeks ago, I’ve not seen nor heard from a GP in 3 years. I was told that something I asked the nurse about,is only dealt with by a GP. There still seems to be plenty of GPs at the kiveton Practice, there is nothing about rules or issues after Covid. I struggle to call on the phone & i’ve had issues with receptionists in the past. Some are nice & others are horrible to you. I don’t know what to do.

One of the receptionists very rude, obnoxious and clearly has poor communication skills as cannot speak to people in an appropriate manner. Haven’t used the service to see a doctor yet but makes me wonder what the care is like in general if this is a prime example of how patients and caters get treated! If people cannot be treated politely in the first instance don’t be surprised when they get annoyed

I took the off work to try and get an appointment for a blood pressure test. Couldn't get one until three weeks the. So now I have had to take more time off work. If you can't get appointments on the day of phoning, why have it that way. If you use the online service, there is no gp appointment option. Isn't that usually why people want to go to the doctors?

Thank you for your comment. We do not understand why you have had to take a day off work to book a blood pressure appointment. Blood pressure appointments are made with our healthcare assistants or practice nurses, which can be made in advance. We would never encourage patients to ring up on the day, unless it was something that could not wait. We also have a blood pressure machine in the waiting room than can be used during our opening hours. We do have GP appointments on line, although these must have all been booked when you have tried to use these. The Practice manager, along with our assistant managers are always more than happy to speak to patients with any queries.

I went for my blood test this morning and fantastic service as always. The staff always make me feel like royalty as everyone knows my name and they go out of their way to speak to me. Couldn’t have better staff they are all fabulous.
