called for a repeat prescription and she said i refuse to give it, deregistered me from the surgery- very poor service

received a very prompt call back after submitting an e-consult form. GP was rude and dismissive and sniggering at times. I very rarely contact my GP and was made to feel like I was a real bother. Asking me questions that I don't know the answer too. Never had an issues with this practice before after over 30 years as a patient but feels like its taken a real nosedive. Would not recommend which is a shame as used to be such a pleasant and professional surgery.

Doctors are never the same people diagnosis always poor . On more than one occasion I have nee asked what do I think is wrong with me . Cheapest version of medication given . Never. Contact you when your results are back in and I mean for weeks even though they were serous results . Send medication to chemist and do not tell the patient even though I was not expecting any medications till I received my results . Had a serious condition ad I had to call up to see if results were back to be told yes abd what they were by the receptionist. It is a very quiet surgery so these things should be standard practice . Also it’s very gloomy in the surgery depressing needs some TLC .

Prior to the pandemic this surgery was brilliant in every way. Easy to make appointments, compendant friendly staff and realistic wait times. Always felt the doctors really knew who you were and was a personal touches to the surgery. Since pandemic and normal procedures now back in place I have been extremely disappointed with the front of house staff. They are extremely rude and I felt it was difficult to make appointments. The doctors and nurses themselves are brilliant, you just have to suffer rude receptionists everytime.

This Surgery was ahead of its time before the Covid Pandemic. Appointments were well scheduled and the receptionists helpful. Since the lockdown the receptionists have been overrun with constant enquiries and coinciding with the online service the Surgery has taken time to return to the assistance of its local community. I believe, unlike the Banks, that not everyone wants to be distanced from the Surgery services when it comes to health concerns. The NHS had to cope with the Pandemic at the frontline so I believe the Dr's at this stage should continue to do the same.
