Today’s vaccinations were delivered by a nurse who provided a warm and friendly service to my wife and I. Very professional and great empathy, answering questions and queries. A great ambassador for Kings Street surgery

Second time in the last week I have experienced prompt and effective service from the surgery team.The incorrect data I inadvertently provided was made known to me and I was able to correct the error and my request acted upon. Am grateful for the care and attention displayed - thank you!

Had the best treatment with a female GP at King street surgery (which this review wont allow me to name). She is the best GP I have ever come across, she represents exactly what a general practitioner should be! She listens, explains everything, provides excellent communication, shows empathy and is very responsive. We need more like her ♡ For the name of the GP, please see King Street surgery reviews!

I am not a King Street patient but attend Kempston clinic earlier today for an appointment. I was not to sure where to go as it was my first time there your lovely receptionist booked me in for my appointment and was very friendly we even shared a little joke. It’s lovely to see that someone who you have never met before can be so welcoming and friendly, can you please pass on my thanks to her.

Re: I cancelled my appointment with my surgery when I managed to secure another appointment ( much appreciated) . And asked for the e consult appointment to be cancelled . This was not done as I received a message reminding me of it. I contacted the kings surgery by email to reiterate that the appointment should be cancelled but I receive another message saying I had missed my appointment . This is not the case . The surgery is closed in Saturdays for phone calls so I did not have the opportunity to ring as well as email. I do not wish my record to state that I missed an appointment which I had already tried to cancel several times. I very much appreciate the NHS do and the employees. The system online could be more efficient to prevent problems such as mine .

This afternoon at 14.30 4th November 2024, I needed some information from the surgery. I approached the reception where a receptionist was sitting and intermittently talking to the lady sitting behind her. I waited patiently for her to finish talking and to acknowledge my presence. However, she blatantly ignored me and continued to keep her head down, after about 5 minutes I asked her if I was invisible? She continued in what she was doing, I repeated the question to which she responded “I am busy doing prescriptions” she put her head back down and continued with what she was doing! I told her she was extremely rude and walked out of the surgery! Prior to retirement I worked in the NHS for 30 years and never ever treated anyone which such disrespect!

The nurse I saw today was wonderful and was able to put me at ease immediately. We chatted during the appointment and it helped me greatly to calm down. Everything was done so professionally and the experience overall has made me feel very comfortable to come back for my yearly reviews.

Saw a female Dr who listened to my concerns patiently Appropriate tests were arranged, felt reassured On leaving had to wait to see a very hard working receptionist who was kind and courteous to everyone she even had a smile which given how rude some people appeared to me to be, was refreshing Good experience Thank you

I attended your new site at Hasley Road on Thursday morning 3rd October and I was greeted by your usual receptionist who was at Cater Street as always she was very polite,friendly and very helpful, she dealt with my queries for me before I waited in the lovely new waiting room for my appointment, I watched her as she dealt with the many new patients that had come for their appointments with the other clinics and she was handling them as if she had been dealing with them for years, she was also chatting with the other staff members from the clinics and on two occasions while I was there heard them saying how lovely she was and also the other patients said exactly the same. I was a little nervous going to the new building but I must say she quickly put me at ease, well done and a big thank you to her, a true credit to your surgery

Dear Patient, thank you for your feedback, it is so nice when patients take the time to give us positive reviews, we are pleased that you found your first visit to our new site at Halsey Road a good experience. Our staff from Cater Street have transferred over as you have mentioned and it has been a great first week settling in, meeting the other staff who work there in clinics. The waiting room as you say is lovely, spacious, bright, it will soon have a TV screen and notice boards.
