    I was seen by The Clinician. I have to say the lady was efficient & very thorough in my examination. She lent a friendly ear to someone that was very fragile & emotional with the awful pain I was in . She gave me kind words & effective treatment & physio number to call . Thank You.

    I was referred by my optician on a Friday and was contacted by the practice the following Tuesday and offered a blood test on the Wednesday morning. I also received a letter from Opthalmology on the Wednesday. This was very efficient. Staff always pleasant and helpful.

    The staff are very friendly, easy to get a hold of by phone Great communication skills Very understanding and attentive They always provide the best care and help and are very thorough with tests and results. I would highly recommend Killamarsh Medical Centre

    Very good practice but u can’t get through them on phone it took me nearly 30minutes each time and then a month to get a appointment

Our average wait times are much lower than 30-mins so I am disappointed to hear of your experiences. I would urge you to make use of our call back facility which works really well.     My wife and I have been with KMC for around 40yrs,and in that time we have had only 1 poor experience, I would add this was not with a practice dr or nurse. The service you people provide to us is exemplary. Our village has become a Township now ,with more Dr's needed at kmc. But for my wife and I, we thank you for your service to us.

We do have 4 GPs working from this practice and they are supported by a wide range of other clinical staff. This allows us to provide a wide range of services.     I had an appointment so be it after a bit of a wait. The young physician associate I saw was very thorough and listened to me, asked a number of questions, didn't rush me and I'm now going through the proper avenue of being diagnosed. I wish to thank her.

    Whilst I didn't have a problem with the doctor, I did not appreciate having to wait 30 mins to see the doctor. If I had been late my appt would have been cancelled. I understand the doctors are busy but there was no one else in the waiting room

    Dear patient, thank you for this review. I apologise for the delay and understand why you would raise the empty waiting room. Each clinician has to 'write up' their consultation which can include all manner of documents / referrals / reports etc. I cannot be any more specific than this but the administrative burden is huge and goes largely unseen by patients.     Killamarsh Practice bearing in mind we have around 11,000 people living in the Village and awaiting total after the 450 houses being built The phone in Service is somewhat better than it was, however dependant on time of day,personally I have had to wait 50 minutes and 2 minutes, but not used the call back service? Both myself and my wife have had lifesaving issues, in 2019, I had lung cancer operated on successfully, same year my wife had open heart surgery both found by Killamarsh Practice? Seeing a Clinician is not everyone’s cup of tea? and I am sure everyone would like to see a doctor? However the Practice Manager explained the funding issue, and it’s better than nothing, Two things need clarifying, The 2 doctors on semi retirement ie: 4 days a week the doctors have a financial stake in the Practice, what happens when they do finally retire? Both those Doctors are registered at Chesterfield Royal Hospital their photographs appear on the walls? Does that interfere with this practice? And finally when those 450 plus houses are built, will there be any changes, bearing in mind the big population increase?

    Dear Ken, thanks for this. I cannot fully answer these points within this system as it is not intended to be used for this purpose. You will be aware how I discussed all these issues with the former MP and I have already met with the new MP in the presence of our PPG. Be assured, there is a succession plan for the eventual retirement of our two partner GPs but that is not an imminent concern.
