  1. Review titled Can’t be bothered to answer the phones

Rated 1 star out of 5

The telephone system needs sorting out in this GP practice , after moving to this GP I can’t believe GP practices are run this way , I have been in position queue 1 for over half an hour, obviously the staff are ignoring calls nearing home time as they want to go home themselves , the practice is supposed to be open until 18:30 and I rang them up at 17:50 just waiting for them to answer and as soon as it hit 18:30 my call got disconnect as no one bothered to answer the phone , absolutely disgusting service

Tried to ring for the past half an hour and sitting through an automated message just to be told the line is busy. I have had this problem many times before would definitely recommend staying away from here

Dear Anon Thankyou for your feedback. I would like to investigate this further to identify if there is an issue with our phones. We have an automated message and then you are given an option to wait or request a call back. The only time that you would get an engaged tone is if the queue is full which can happen first thing in the morning when alot of people are trying to get through at the same time. This would give an engaged tone and there wouldnt be a message to say the line is busy? Could

  3. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Debs - Posted on 07 March 2023

My elderly parents recently moved to the practice and I have full authorisation to deal with their health issues. I liaise with the staff and health professionals and have found the staff to be professional and caring and have gone out of their way to ensure issues are dealt with and I have been hugely impressed. As a health care professional myself I know how hard everyone needs to work to give a high standard of patient care. In my opinion the surgery goes out if their way to uphold the Christian values they uphold on their website / mission statement. I do understand the constraints trying to speak with someone at the surgery - the queue and the callback system can be a little onerous but I have not had an issue with it, however , I know how the system works and there has to be something in place. It would not detract from my high opinion of the surgery in any way . Thank you

Dear Anon I'm sorry you have not been happy with the service here. Without knowing the details I can only assume that you have contacted the practice after all our On the day triage appointments have gone. To save phoning back again the following day we do encourage people to submit an online Econsultation as these are triaged in the same way as phoning up for an appointment request - however we appreciate this isn't suitable for everyone. If this is not the case then I would be happy to investigate what has happened if you contact the practice with the details. I'm glad to see that by the time you submitted this review you had your access to internet resolved. Kind Regards- Amy Connolly, Practice Manager

  6. Review titled Totally dysfunctional "appointment system"

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Mr Angry - Posted on 16 May 2022

Everyone must ring starting 0800 hrs as the receptionist told me that is the fairest way. This means 20 plus patients trying to get through at once so you are in a queue and then have an option to select 5 on your phone for a call back. They lack honesty and integrity because I was 19th at 0805 then 22nd at 0940 and was still waiting at1330 so I was lied to and would never get that call back. Rang again 1330 held on this time for 1.5 hours until I spoke to the receptionist. Tell me what was wrong with the online booking system or calling in and asking for an appointment. This "service" is not fit for purpose. Here is an extract from a statement on one of their information pages. We are a medical centre based in Croxteth, Liverpool. We are a forward looking and innovative practice which aims to give our patients the highest standard of service. The standard of service I see now is terrible and unacceptable. Why do the G.P.s work 2 or 3 days a week? If they worked 5 I'm sure we could all have a satisfactory service which we have and are paying a fortune for. Is the team too obsessed by their hobbies and have home life balance too far weighted to home life?

Dear Mr Angry Thankyou for taking the time to post some feedback, I'm sorry that you have been unhappy with the service here at Jubilee. I believe we have received the same complaint in writing in which we are currently investigating and will get back to you with a response in due course. I can however address your concerns with regards to GPs working 2 or 3 days a week. We currently have 11 GPs and 3 advanced nurse practitioners who between them work as approximately 7.5 full time equivalents. A GPs' working days are not a standard 9.00 - 5.00pm. They generally start at 8.00am and do not finish until their days work is complete which could be 7.00pm or even later and often without a proper rest period. They often have to catch up on their admin work on their non working days. The team are extremely disheartened to hear that this is what you think however I hope my explanation reassures you that the team are not "too obsessed by their hobbies and have home life balance too far weighted to home life". Kind Regards Amy Connolly Practice Manager
