Following the triage and online booking process, which wouldn't allow an appointment to be booked, waited on hold to speak to a receptionist at 10am. When spoken to advised morning appointments for the following Monday hadn't been released yet. Just ring back at some time later to see if any had been released and were available. Pretty shoddy system and useless if you are working and cant keep making a phone call. This system lets down the staff and patients at this other wise great practice.

Two lengthy phone calls and two emails trying to secure an appointment for my daughter, which I had to practically beg for, appalling, even the receptionist I was speaking to agreed. I did eventually get an appointment, though i felt I had to fight and justify my reasons for wanting to see a gp.The appointment booking system is floored, particularly if you work and aren’t able to spend the day continuously running the gauntlet trying to get through on the phone only to be told, appointments haven’t yet been released, call again later. They cannot or choose not to let you know when appointments are likely to be released. Shambolic and shameful lack of service and empathy. Reminiscent of “Not the 9 o’clock news hospital bed sketch”

When you finally pluck up the courage to make an appointment which has taken all my mental strength to call then get told either no appointments have been released yet, call back in two hours or go on line but it’s only within certain time slots in the day. This was a great practice even in Covid it worked well but not now. I have no choice but to change GP to get an appointment and the service back again rather than being spoken to by a receptionist who has no empathy at all.

After following the text message process, which is a poor show in itself, I was told I needed to see a GP, the following day I called every 20/30 minutes to book an appointment only to be told each time they hadn’t been released for the following Friday, one week away. 4.20pm I called again for what felt like the 100th time that day to be told all appointments for the following Friday had gone, I explained I’d call literally every 20/30 minutes that day to be then told only 4 appointments had been offered. I explained I was unable to spend another day calling them due to working full time, Monday to Friday, I was then told by the Receptionist, that unfortunately that’s the way it is, they don’t know when the appointments are released and they currently have a shortage of staff due to illness and was unable to help me further.

Impossible to get a general appointment at this surgery due to the random nature of 'electronic appointment release' they operate. Spent 2 days and 8 hours trying to get one and not succeeded, surely there must be a more patient friendly system than this, no wonder metal health issues are on the increase. This surgery does not want to see patients and should be taken to task over it.

I have been trying all week to see or talk to a doctor after having operation I need to check thing out to see All is well and what tablets to still after trying again all day iwas then told to try Tuesday and phone put down as she said i was shouting which i was not

When will you read the reviews & take note of people’s frustration regarding the booking system? It is nearly impossible to get an appointment unless you ring up throughout the day. I work full time & have a variety of other commitments, which make this nearly impossible. Do you not understand the amount of stress & anxiety this causes people who are already struggling? What will the practice change this ridiculous system!

Saw doctor, who was brilliant, very thorough, compassionate and caring. The doctor asked me to make an appointment to review how the proposed treatment was going, discuss test results and proceed to referral to a specialist. Due to the sensitive nature of my problem I felt relieved and reassured to be able to build trust with this G.P. Unfortunately this all changed when trying to make the said appointment. Being repeatedly told to ring back at certain times which are impossible due to work and family commitments. I am still trying to get an appointment and the stress of battling through this useless, random, patient UNfriendly system is greatly exacerbating my symptoms. I agree with others who have expressed there is no wonder mental health issues are increasing when it is so extremely difficult to access care.

Been with this practice for 12 months now, and have never seen a doctor, been trying to book an appointment for 3 months and every time I ring the receptionist says no appointments left try again tomorrow. I have rang at different times of the day but still can’t get an appointment. Not very helpful on reception as I have asked best time to ring and all they say is to keep ringing as they don’t know the time appointments are released. Have had enough and will be moving practice. Thanks for nothing. Taxes well spent.

I am struggling to make an appointment at this surgery. I am asked to phone in every day to get an appointment for the week after! I work as a driver so find this near on impossible. I work long hours most day's. They say we have one appointment at say 15.10 pm next week and due to work I am unable to take the appointment so am told to ring in again tomorrow. I pay for this service and yet I am unable to use it. The receptionists I tend to speak to have no concept of the difficulty I have in booking. It is just constant, arrogant and unacceptable behaviour from these staff. We don't all work 9 to 5 with the ability to take time off when we please. Having looks at the stats for this surgery it says it needs improving, I couldn't agree more. I am not trying to book during a pandemic I just need an appointment to see a doctor that my taxes pay for!
