Second appointment and at least 30min late. Waited 3 weeks for appointment for my son to be checked about his freckles and at the appointment asked the doctor about him being often ill and was refused to be checked about this as the appointment was only about freckles and was told I have to make another appointment. Absolutely disgusted by the service and the doctor. Wish she couldn’t serve any other patients and be licensed taken away.

There are 16 chairs in the waiting area plus x4 kids children chairs. I have taken a 82 year old walking person to her doctors appointment and None of the chairs have armrest. Which is very difficult for older ppl to get out of the non arm rest chairs. Why is this ? Do elderly ppl not come here? If this will always be the case it’s better to i the doctors out to her home, which isn’t cost effective. Please invest in the arm chairs

Dear Patient, Thank you for sharing your concerns about the waiting area seating. We understand how important it is for older patients, and those with mobility challenges, to have comfortable and supportive seating, including chairs with armrests to help with standing up. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will raise this with the practice management team to explore options for improving the seating arrangements to better accommodate everyone’s needs. We value feedback like yours as it helps us create a more welcoming environment for all patients. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. I took my 8 year old daughter to investigate a health issue and the doctor really took time to make sure both she and I understood what was happening in the moment, why it was happening and explain the next steps very clearly.

  7. Review titled Consistently inadequate in my experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 March 2025

Getting an appointment was a nightmare. It's not possible to book normal appointments online / on the app, so you have to wait in a phone queue for on average 40 mins. I waa then then offered an appointment in 3 weeks' time. I am meant to have annual tests for diabetes but have not been offered one in 5 years. I've proactively asked twice - been promised them but never actually given the forms I've been promised.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We were very sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced in trying to book an appointment, and the long wait times you encountered on the phone. We understand how frustrating it must have been to be offered a date weeks away, especially when you were seeking important ongoing care. It’s particularly concerning to hear that you were meant to have annual diabetes checks but had not been invited for several years, despite asking proactively. That’s not the standard of care we aimed to provide, and we regret the repeated missed opportunities to follow through as promised. Your feedback was taken seriously and shared with the relevant teams to review where things went wrong and how we can better support patients with long-term conditions. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Kind regards Complaints Hub The Lewisham Care Partnership

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We were very sorry to hear about the pain and loss of mobility you’ve been experiencing. We understand how distressing it must have been to be waiting for a new prescription, especially when it was recommended by your consultant and you were in daily discomfort. It’s deeply concerning to hear that the medication had not been issued as expected. This should have been handled more promptly, and we sincerely regret the impact this delay may have had on your well-being. Your feedback was taken seriously and shared with the relevant teams so we could look into what went wrong and how to prevent similar delays in the future. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Kind regards Complaints Hub The Lewisham Care Partnership

  9. Review titled Disappointed and concerned

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 29 April 2024

I have now had 4 appointments cancelled with only one offered as an alternate date - which was subsequently cancelled this morning. I am waiting for test results and was asked to contact the surgery. I feel not only disappointed by the service but concerned that my health does not seem to be a priority. I will try to book again but if things do not improve with the service I will consider moving Practice.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We were very sorry to hear about your experience, and we completely understand your frustration and concern. Having multiple appointments cancelled particularly when you're waiting on test results and seeking follow-up must have been incredibly disappointing and unsettling. We sincerely regret that you were left feeling that your health was not a priority. That was never our intention, and we recognise how important clear communication and continuity of care are, especially when you're already dealing with uncertainty around your health. Your feedback was taken seriously and shared with the wider team so we could reflect on what went wrong and how we can improve. We understand how this experience may have led you to consider changing practice, and while we hope to continue caring for you, we also respect your right to make the decision that’s best for you. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Kind regards Complaints Hub The Lewisham Care Partnership

  10. Review titled Poor Practice management

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 March 2024

Even though the GPs are caring and knowledgeable, getting to their service is very difficult. Admin management, pharmacist and nurse services are below the expected standard, with passive and rude receptionist ( 1 is very professional and caring) wrong repeat prescription issued, cancelled appointment, long waiting time to speak to reception only to have the call cut when it is your time. Once secured a specialist appointment, despite official communication, it's never clear if the practice receives the consultation results. Record are often lost in transit, delayed, not followed up by the practice. There is no system of safety netting towards the patient. I am reasonably well and I am motivated enough to assertively look for missing communication, reschedule cancelled appointment, check wrong repeat prescription but I feel the practice management, nurse and pharmacist service lack the level of precision required by the nature of their business.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We were very sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced accessing our services, and we understand how frustrating and disheartening this must have been especially when you made every effort to follow up and advocate for your own care. While we're pleased to hear your comments about the GP's being caring and knowledgeable, we regret that other aspects of the service did not meet expectations. We acknowledge your concerns regarding administrative issues, cancelled appointments, prescription errors, communication gaps, and the challenges you've faced with follow-up and record handling. These are all areas where reliability and clarity are vital. Your feedback highlighted important issues, and we took it seriously. It has been shared with our wider team, including management, to reflect on how we can improve the quality, responsiveness, and coordination of our service. We’re especially sorry that your experience with reception and follow-up communication left you feeling unsupported, and that there was no clear safety net in place. We value input like yours it helps us identify where we need to do better. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. Kind regards Complaints Hub The Lewisham Care Partnership
