    why are you making it so hard for pensioners to contact you about medication. We were not brought up with computers therefore find it very difficult to make an appointment. I need to talk to a doctor about my prescription but the receptionist keeps saying that I have to do it on line. I hope you can see where I am coming from.

Our Patient Service Assistant (PSA) are available in practice to be able to help you complete the online form with you. If you telephone the practice the PSA answering can also fill in an online form for you too. Again, I apologise if this has not happened for you.     having tried to book appointments at surgery and online and getting nowhere I have come to the conclusion that the new system is designed so that you cannot get to see a doctor. you just get refused help when at the surgery and told to book online. and there are never any appointments available there. so it's a poor service in my view.

    I had total knee replacement 28/3/24 Carried out at a private hospital 24 miles away. My nhs hospital 'farmed' the operation to the private sector due to me having waited over 12 months. Operation was a success. I left after being supplied with medication and 1 pair of Compression stockings. One week later I contacted modality awc and requested a 2nd pair of stockings extra large to allow rotation. 1 pair in the wash 1 pair worn. Recieved reply by sms asking "what size" I responded stating size. Waited 2 days heard nothing. Went through the whole procedure again. Recieved a phone call to tell me to make the 44 mile round trip to the private hospital who carried out the procedure and ask them for some more stockings. 5 working days wasted. I am retired can only walk using crutches, have paid into the system all my working life. It is upsetting to see private companies such as Modality awc taking cash from the NHS and just keeping it. They have placed an entire management team between the NHS and patient. Well paid, but inefficient. No doubt an artificial intelligence automated response from Modality awc will be added to the end of this complaint.

    IV been fobbed off for 2 days now !, I was prescribed pregablin yrs ago !, I wasn't advised the side affects!, I have to keep reminding my holycroft surgery it's been messed up so many times, Iv been I'll so many times, now iv waited 2 days and still no one has got in touch with me .

    I used the online contact service to report a health concern and within 1 hour I was contacted and an appointment given to attend the surgery 30 minutes later to see a GP. The appointment was on time and my concerns were put at ease following an examination. Absolutely faultless service from start to finish and far from all the bad reviews I've heard previously.

    Arrived at my 9.02 appointment with which I have text confirmation. DR arrived 9.08 and called me into office 9.14am asked me about my skin and just recommended I don't use Dove soap that I have used last 30 years. Asked about my high blood pressure, in which he said "it's no point in taking my blood pressure in the surgery" What was the point of waiting 4 weeks for an appointment when I could have had a phone call. All seemed very uninterested. I had put a second request in due to constant dizziness which may be because of blood pressure or vertigo but was told he can't help me with that as was out of time (when did doctors start putting time frame on your health, maybe if he turned up to work on time he would have time for patients). I informed him my appointment was scheduled for 9am and he turned up late, again I have the appointment confirmed for 9am. He said his was 9.12 (he arrive to the surgery at 9.08 looking rushed), he did try offer another appointment but I can't just wander back in the afternoon I have my own job that I need to be on time for. If it was so easy to book a second appointment why have I had to want for 4 weeks for the first then given a appointment that was according to the practice incorrect. Then sent away with no help , just to be told don't use soap and take your own pressure which I informed I have been doing this for the last 4 weeks, at the very least he should have taken my blood pressure himself. My dizziness is an issue that he would not address even though is all started around the same time. Very, very unhappy with attitude and of no outcome of situation

    I filled in the online form for an appointment which took me about 3/4 hr. I got a reply to supply photographs but could only submit one . Then asked for more photographs but can only supply one at a time. I then got a text telling me I needed an appointment ( for which I wouldn’t be filling the form in otherwise!!!!!) Eventually got to see a doctor after 4 weeks wait only to be told they can’t do anything on nhs but could go private to remove facial warts. No offer of any creams or remedies to improve the appearance of them. When I arrived for my appointment the surgery was practically empty with one person waiting to see the same doctor 12 mins prior to me. The doctor finally arrived 10 mins after his 1st appointment time making him late already. I also asked at reception for access to my medical records that I submitted a form for 18 months previously to be told that there was no record of my application. She did say that I could access them through the nhs app but only recent issues are accessible. This practice has really gone down in my estimation since modality took over. It’s no wonder people are going to A and E because it’s really difficult to get an appointment and then can’t get the proper treatment from your GP. It’s a total disgrace.

    I want to say a huge thank you to Holicroft surgery and the GPs for the wonderful treatment I have received from you recently. Prompt reply from online application, followed by tests and procedures all within 10 days. Couldn’t ask for more and I am very grateful for this first class service. Thank you to everyone concerned. Good to know I was in safe hands. Thank you again, to our wonderful NHS.
