I attended a routine review meeting to discuss some blood results that were a little unusual. The doctor was attentive and quickly explained the possible implications and what further investigation is needed. On the way out I realised I wanted to speak to the pharmacist too and made an enquiry at reception. My request was logged . By the time I got back home a text message came through to confirm a phone appointment later the same day. The pharmacist was clear, helpful and straightforward in terms of my question. I’ve always had good experience with this surgery!

Because of the bad weather, my appointment with the doctor was changed to a phone appointment. I feel that he is always ready to listen, and that he understands my issues very well. I respect his opinion.

Always a positive experience dealing with staff even when they are snowed under. I was able to sort out my medications and go through the reasons why I still need to take them. Everything was explained in detail and made sense.

I was due a medication review and wanted advice and support to stop taking an anti-seizure medication that had been replaced with a different medication. I was given very thorough person-centred, step-by-step advice, and have be offered a follow-up appointment. The trouble taken by the clinical pharmacist has helped reduce my anxiety over coming off this medication. Thank you.

The practice nurse was kind, thorough and courteous. The service was prompt; I waited less than 5 mins in the waiting room. I was also advised that there was another vaccination I was eligible for but decided to book that one for a later date and was able to get an appointment from the receptionist before I left. All in all an excellent service all round. Well done.

Grateful for consistently excellent service from staff who are kind, helpful and knowledgeable - going above and beyond. Attended recently for an injection. As ever the nurse was very helpful, friendly and kind.

I was not rushed at all and never made to feel like I was on a time limit. The Doctor was knowledgable, kind and explained everything clearly. She made sure I understood everything and was happy and organised when she would check in with me next. Always impressed with The Hollies!

I’ve just wasted 2 hours at the Hallamshire H to give a blood sample . I couldn’t because no one told me I had to fast 12 hours.

I saw the GP for a face to face appointment for a couple of chronic issues. He listened and gave time for me to talk but was also very solution focused and realistic. I left feeling satisfied with the next steps. Great surgery
