    I have also left an email to compliment this service too This new service is superb! I don’t contact the GP very often and to be honest when I used to call for an appointment I never had a problem and it worked for me I’ve contacted my surgery on 2 occasions using this new online service and on both I have been answered promptly! It works brilliantly alongside my busy work and family life as still have to work even though not well! Service today was fantastic, had a reply and plan within a few hours! Thanks again!

    I received ver good service from both Dr and wellbeing team, but receptionist 90% are great a couple have no empathy. Contact to surgery is well below what you would expect and it is impossible to get appointments when needed and get told to see out of hours Dr that you have never spoken to before. This surgery has some good staff but service is rubbish until you get to see someone.

    Dear patient, from 8th January 2024 the system changed, taking away the need to call or come in person to the surgery to make contact. If you visit our website at www.hillbrowpartnership.co.uk and click the green contact button you will be able to complete an online form which goes directly to the triage team of qualified GPs who will review and action appropriately. This new system has seen significant reduction in waiting time for appointments, as any patients who require a same day appointment will be called to arrange and by qualified clinicians reviewing all contacts the patients who need to be seen are getting seen within 2 weeks, which is a reduction of 6 weeks from the old system.     Unable to get through to reception hours on hold you finally give up, this Practice needs a new complete management team which are currently letting this Practice down.

    I've been trying to get an appointment here for 5 weeks, I've phoned, I've attempted to book an appointment online, and I've visited the surgery. You can never get through on the phone lines, if you do you're either cut off or told there are no appointments available. If you request a phone back they either don't bother, or just leave you hanging on "for an operative" then cut you off. When visting personally you are told in an off hand manner that there are no appointments - what never?? Go online at 8am on Monday morning and there are no available appointments! Perhaps this practice follows the ethos of the well known ~ but fictional miser from the well known novel (I'm not allowed to mention either book title nor character here as it's seen as a breach of NHS rules on naming names of practice staff or patients (yes, honestly!!) ~ when he said "well let them die and reduce the surplus population" This practice is not fit for purpose.

    Cancelled appointment 1 hour before attending by text after waiting for several weeks. This is the 3rd time this year . Surgery really isn't fit for purpose .

    Dear patient, we apologise that your appointment was cancelled. This only happens when a clinician is off sick on the day of the appointment, and every effort is made to put the appointment with an alternate clinician before any cancellation, however this is not always possible.

    For the second time this year Hill Brow Surgery has cancelled my appointment , noting I have already had to wait several weeks to see a doctor. they proceed to place you firmly at the back of the queue again. To cancel once is frustrating, to cancel twice isn't acceptable, the practice simply isn't fit for purpose with regards to administrating appointment s.

    I just want to say how impressed I was with the service I received at my appointment with on 5.10.23. My concerns were listened to, taken seriously and through checks were made at my appointment. Other tests/follow up appointments required were booked at convenient times to suit my working pattern. The only thing I needed to wait for was a referral appointment with the hospital. The Doctor could clearly see how upset I was having to discuss my symptoms and she treated me in a very caring compassionate manner. I don’t visit the practice that often but I have to say I received the same excellent treatment when I attended last time with another Doctor. Thank you to you both for your professionalism, knowledge and kindness, you are a credit to the practice and profession.

    After getting through at 8.00am and being 7th in the clue my call was answered by a very respectful friendly receptionist. I was asked the reason for my call so that the Doctor would have some clue as to the issue and told I would get a call back during the day. The call came at about 2.30pm . The Doctor listened to my query which concerned my medication and went out of his way to explain in great depth the reasoning behind why I was on certain medication. He then listened to my concerns and together we came to an agreement that pleased me with the knowledge that in a month the situation would be assessed. Throughout the phone call I never felt rushed but did feel listened to. Although I would much prefer a face to face consultation I appreciate that the NHS and GP situation has changed greatly but was extremely pleased with the service I was given.

    Absolutely appalling levels of patient 'customer' service demonstrated by the reception team, who are apparently 'trained' to advise patients of the options available to them. It's a shame they haven't been trained to demonstrate good manners, the ability to allow somebody to finish speaking before responding, and overall professionalism when dealing with people who may be suffering a great deal due to poor health. It's unsurprising people avoid going to their GP when you have to battle through the terriers to book an appointment. The Practice Manager(s) should hold staff accountable, as the vast majority of negative reviews demonstrate the need for action at this surgery.
