I am providing feedback on my appointment on 18/01/23. From the booking of the appointment, the consultation with the doctor and the dealings with the in-house pharmacy was a very pleasant experience. The doctor dealt with my two issues very well with good clear explanations and put my mind at rest. Dealing with practice staff at the desk and pharmacy was without issue. 10/10 to all.

It would appear I have not responded successfully to the Antibiotics being prescribed. I asked if my GP would call to discuss my failure to respond to the Meds. I called a few hours later, my GP discussed the issue and prescribed a different Antibiotic. So pleased the GP responded so quickly and my lung infection clears in the coming days. I already feel a big difference with this medication. It was explained that sometimes it just requires a different Antibiotic to clear the infection not necessarily a stronger one. Such a relief to get the necessary treatment. Great service provided by my practice.

Good thorough explanations of what the treatment entitled and step by step explanation of what the professional was doing during the treatment. Great communication, professionalism and ensured that I was happy to go ahead with the treatment. Overall great service. Thank you

I had what I thought was an urgent need to see a doctor - no Injury , within 1 call from me to reception , two calls from the doctor to me , and a text picture , I was seen by doc within 2 hours total including calls , great advice , service and care . can’t imagine how it could be more efficient , in todays world with all restrictions , technology and dedicated staff showed what was possible I am not great with technology , and previously would not engage with it and just complain , but , by embracing what was on call , I would not hestitate to use the service again if ever needed , very comforting to know , help is close by

I recently contacted the surgery via Doctrin and I was very impressed with the quick and helpful response I received from a nurse practitioner. I was provided with an effective solution to my problem in a very efficient manner. This service is typical of that which my family and I have received from this practice for both serious and less serious issues over the past few years from both nurses and doctors. We are very grateful.

Called in yesterday to book an appointment told I had to phone in in the morning. Called this morning told no appointments available! Tried to book for tomorrow, not possible and must book on the day! How can I do this?????

Primary care services are under huge strain at the moment and on occasions it can be difficult to keep up with demand. If you have online access via Patient online or the NHS app you can book a telephone appointment in this way. If you have an NHS app profile you can use our online consultation tool, Doctrin, which is for non-urgent issues. Lung infection did not clear after taking Packup Antibiotics and Steriods. Phoned reception, they arranged for GP to call me. GP asked me to come in for a thorough check up. Given a check up and an explanation of the treatment strategy. All done reassuringly, with the proviso to get back in touch if things don’t change in 5 days. Excellent care and attention to detail, full explanation of my blood oxygen, blood pressure and raised temperature. It was a great relief to be given an immediate appointment, a new prescription and follow up. I had been getting anxious, the staff and GP at Hereward Practice provided confidence and reassurance that all will be resolved. I am feeling great relief having been seen by Practice. Excellent service.

I am extremely happy with the care I have received from the practice over the last 2-3 years. I have found the receptionists friendly and helpful. The nurses, doctors and health workers I have been in contact with have been professional and caring, always taking time to listen to and understand my health issues. I have always received timely appointments from them. Repeat prescriptions are sent promptly to my pharmacy of choice.

Called for an urgent query about my daughter, got a call back within 5 minutes and got an appointment with the doctor 10 mins after that. Really put my mind at rest and reassured

Everytime I’ve had reason to use the practice I’ve found the Drs , nurses, and admin team friendly and always do what they say they are going to do . Booking procedure fast and efficient. Just want to say Thankyou and keep up the great work . :)
