I phoned to get my father seen after he delovoped a lump in jis neck. this was on 15th Dec, he was seen quickly and referred on to Guildford hospital which are dealing with it now. Great team

I have tried multiple times to get an appointment here - they send me a link to an appointment booking site that has no appointments or tell me to go to Urgent Care in another town. Yet they say they are still accepting new patients! Sure GPs are fine once you get to see one but that looks unlikely....

Dear Patient I am sorry you are having difficulty booking an appointment, we are extremely busy but generally have routine appointments available approximately 5 weeks ahead. If the matter is urgent we have "on the day" appointments available for this type of matter. I would urge you to keep trying and we will do our best to find an appointment for you. I needed medical help while visiting family near Haslemere. To be honest, I wasn't sure that I would be able to see anybody but the outcome far exceeded my expectations. I was able to speak with a nurse practioner the same morning and offered an appointment in the afternoon. The NP who looked after me was patient, reassuring and professional. I felt so much better after the consultation and was given very clear advice on how to manage my situation. The staff at the in-house pharmacy were so helpful,my medication was ready for me in about ten minutes. My stay was extended as I was not well enough to drive home, and had run out of my regular medication. I was able to organise my own surgery to enable my medication to be prepared at this surgery. I had contact with the NP, and two pharmacy staff members. I came away very satisfied and impressed with the care, support and smiling service I received.

Review titled Supportive and understanding GP

I have been seeing one of the GP's at the practice for several months now for a particular condition. She has been generous with her time and advice, and has showed me compassion and empathy on every interaction, whether that is over the phone or face to face. I genuinely feel she wants to help me. Experiences over the years with other GPs at this practice have generally been positive and there is the added benefit of a minor injuries unit and a very good pharmacy within the health centre itself which opens long hours and over the weekend.

Telephone call from GP Didn’t feel doctor was that compassionate. I was stopped in mid sentence and told that this was an urgent call and let’s do a blood test etc - obviously wanted to wrap the call up.

GP seemed uninterested in my health issues, I tried explaining my list of symptoms which he completely ignored and minimised as "tiredness". Have been bed bound for 17 months now with zero help from the NHS. GP referred me to a psychologist even after I explained multiple times that a mental health professional has ruled out mental health causing my symptoms. Would have been better off just never seeing a GP as it has just been a waste of time and energy.

I went into health centre first thing, received a triage telephone call within about 90 minutes and was invited down for an examination there and then. The whole experience was kind and efficient. Thank you -
