I feel I have to express my appreciation for the reception staff who have been especially helpful to me over recent months & not just with last face to face with a doctor who was also very good . I have overheard them dealing with other difficult situations with other patient’s professionally and courteous

Review titled Always happy with care from the Groves
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 27 January 2025
As a patient with multiple chronic lung conditions I need a GP practice where I can get seen quickly and where they know me and take my conditions seriously. I have been really happy with the treatment I receive at the Groves. The asthma clinic is a great resource and the asthma nurse really pushed for my referral to a respiratory consultant at Kingston Hospital.

Review titled Efficient
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Janette Reed - Posted on 03 January 2025
The advice to go to A&E or ring 999 was succinct and easy to do. A visit to Kingston Hospital was productive. An examination by a doctor identified the problem as sacroiliac inflammation, and anti inflammatory pills prescribed. Thank you

Review titled Excellent in-house pharmacist
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mike Tuer - Posted on 17 January 2025
Ali (in-house) pharmacist was extremely easy to deal with during 6-monthly medication review. Listened carefully, made helpful/proactive recommendations, showed excellent knowledge - very professional yet also easily approachable.

Review titled Excellent immediate help
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Deirdre Ann Greene - Posted on 18 December 2024
I so rarely have to ask for help on my own behalf, as it's usually on account iof my Husband that I need help from the Groves. But today I had to ask for help with a personal health problem. and was immediately helped by the excellent Receptionist to have access to a consultation, without having to make an appointment at a later date. In the consultation I was given helpful advice in a clear way and left the Groves greatly encouraged by my interaction at the meeting.

Review titled New booking system
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Ian Wagg - Posted on 16 December 2024
Used to be able to get an appt by calling at 8am and talking to a person. New online triage system took ages to register an email address and then this delay caused me not to get an appointment. 100% worse system than it used to be.

Review titled GPs inaccessible
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Mrs Angela C Barratt - Posted on 22 November 2024
I used the Rapid Health online service to book a GP appointment as instructed but found it long, confusing and complicated to use. When I reached the end of the questionnaire I was advised to dial 999 to go to A&E. This process took several hours and when I eventually arrived in A&E I was told I should have made an appointment with my GP. Situation absurd.
