I saw an acp, he was very friendly and helpful, he spent a lot of time with me…didn’t rush and asked loads of questions. He then examined me and told me what he thought was the matter….he was very easy to talk to and put me at my ease

The. Only problem I had was that I could not book on line and had to ring the practice to book, only to be told I needed to book on line it needs sorting

Dear Mr Hulme, thank you for taking time to leave a review. We are sorry you experienced problems booking online. Please be advised our website service is open periodically between the hours of 7.30am and 7.00pm in the evening. However, we do have to close the service throughout the day for clinical safety due to the volume of requests we receive. We process the requests waiting and then reopen the service. If you do not succeed accessing the service, a notice does advise it is currently closed and to try later. Was given an appointment time for a vaccination but when I arrived at the practice there was a queue right across the car park and the vaccination was over 30 minutes late

The practice experienced technical issues with our systems that were out of our control and which caused delays. Extremely good experience. I had a steroid injection for trigger finger.I was treated professionally and sympathetically and the side effects were explained to me I felt I had been treated in a caring and professional way

On Saturday waiting for COVID injection the staff were very efficient and quick with the injection but there was a large number of people turned up at what appeared to be correct time but had to wait over 30 minutes. Good job not raining.

Used to be good. Almost impossible now to get on day appointments if you're working and can't keep on hitting the redial button. Seems a bit discriminatory as those who work for a living have the lowest chances of getting an appointment. Saturday's covid booster was a cattle market and completely disorganised. Queues from car park and immunocompromised patient squeezing past queue rather than leaving other entrance. No pro-activeness. Had blood test request waiting since December but nobody told me. Nobody advised whether fasting or not. Have to ask everything myself. If you're looking for a receptionist or somebody to deal with online queries, that's what I'm good at and could bring so much to the team, which is obviously overwhelmed. You're still very friendly when I finally get my appointment and see someone but just to get to you seems nearly impossible

Please be advised routine appointments can be requested on our website, which is open from 7.30am to 7.00pm to cater for our patients who work. Urgent appointments for patients who need to be seen on the day are still obtained by telephone. We are aware of the issues at the recent Covid clinic, which were caused by problems with our systems which were out of our control. This caused delays in patients being seen. We run very large flu clinics each autumn with great success and have not experienced these issues previously. I attended a pre booked appointment for a COVID booster vaccination. Even though there was quite a long queue the clinic session was well organised and only took about 20 minutes in total. As always the staff were friendly and professional.

Arrived 10 mins early , called in straight away from, examined me , referred me then out , face to face easy , why these long drawn out phone appointments. Then you still have to wait two weeks for a face to face,

Please be reassured that you will always be seen face to face where appropriate, and routine appointment requests are triaged by a GP to determine which course of action is necessary regarding your request. We do aim to offer appointments for routine requests for between 7 and 14 days, but this will depend on staffing and availability.
