Very short waiting time to be answered. Friendly receptionist who made me a same day appointment at a time that suited me. The medical professional I saw was fantastic. She listened to me and came up with a plan of action to deal with my issue.

Reception dispensary and all medical staff first rate having a solid and pleasant service with no hint of being too busy to help. Thorough assessment of my concern by Dr and properly followed up

I had been taken into Emergency at NGH last with severe pain last May, which although handling serious capacity problems over a couple of days they did a thorough, excellent examination. The Gastroenterology department was not inclined to help even though Dr L referred me. However, Dr L concomitantly tried some alternative medication that has helped immensely. Prior to seeing the Dr I was in a great deal of pain during much of each day, l am immensely grateful.

The nurse I saw was friendly and professional. She was thorough and explained the issue I had and how the medications she was prescribing would help. She made sure I understood what dosage and how and when to take the tablets. She made a follow-up appointment for me there and then. Brilliant service!

I phoned at 8.15am, was 16th in the queue and selected to be called back when it was my turn. A callback came 30mins later and I was offered an appointment at 9am or 9.40am. The doctor saw me at my appointment time, issued a prescription and I was out of the building within 20 minutes. This is an absolutely fantastic practice, and I consider myself and my family lucky to live so close to such a fantastic service.

It is what I’ve come to expect from our wonderful NHS and from the service offered by Weedon and Greens Norton Surgeries. The consultation was informative and I was given time to discuss my concerns. The doctor was well briefed on my condition and records were well used. Advice on the way treatment should progress was excellent and a follow up scan was arranged (and has already been confirmed for the near future). Many thanks
