    I asked for help with a specific prescription request (under 'admin request for help') Request sent at 10 am. By 12 noon I had a very helpful (and speedy!) response. Much appreciated - thank you.

    This place is extremely frustrating. When you asked to be called but you get a text which you can’t reply to. This means you have to ring the receptionist to pass on a message. You then get another text, so you then have to ring the receptionist once again. This goes on and on and on. Seems a stupid way to run and creates more work for the people who get paid minimum wage. Even the receptionist said they are just the messenger as texts don’t give enough information and you never have a way to respond. They are getting extremely frustrated by this so called, good system. I’ve had to make 8 phone calls in the last 2 days and my referral still hasn’t gone to the correct place. Call back system doesn’t work. Waited nearly four hours for a call back last year. Tried to ring back but they wouldn’t allow my phone to ring as I was on the call back system. My Dad then phoned from his phone and got through to the receptionist in less then 2 minutes but yet you’re not meant to loose your place in the queue! Multiple times, the E Consult is not picked up (in the last 20 months), so you then have to ring saying, no one has answered me by the time they said E Consults are picked up. This then creates more work for the patient and the receptionist staff.

    The doctors are Always kind and caring along with the reception staff and admin staff. The reception are great at helping you speak to the right person. Don’t have to wait long to speak to a doctor. Explain things in a clear way if you don’t understand. Offer telephone appointments where possible which is convenient and reduces waiting times. Best practice I’ve ever been at.

    Staff were very helpful, but it took 2 re-issues, 4 days, 2 12-mile car journeys and 2 hours queuing in 3 different pharmacies before I finally got my prescription. I'm surprised the prescribing software doesn't seem to check whether medications are still current and available in the stated size. Ideally there would be a real-time database which included availability in local pharmacies, but I'm not holding my breath... Thanks anyway to all who helped me finally get my prescription.

    Whether it’s to see a GP, have blood tests, call reception or collect medication from the pharmacy I have been treated quickly and professionally by all. The pharmacy is always under a lot of pressure due to the amount of customers but they do a great job.

    I rarely need an appointment. I filled out an on-line form this morning. It has already been reviewed by the duty doctor and an appointment made. It’s not until next week but it’s not urgent. The practice is heavily subscribed but I know they do their very best. Throughout the pandemic, and as an extremely clinically vulnerable patient they were great. Managed my vaccines very well. Compared to my mothers GP I know I am very lucky to have them. Pointless blaming the practice for Government shortcomings. The doctors are excellent, compassionate. Their paramedics offer a great alternative and the reception staff are great. Thanks.

    The surgery inc dispensary staff helped resolve a prescription problem that came from the JR going beyond their normal Jon responsibilities.
