Having submitted an e-consult I was offered an appointment within a week, which was appropriate to the condition I was seeking advice on. The GP listened to me and gave advice that I felt was appropriate.

I went down to the surgery in the 24 th march at 4.15,and i had a great doctor,he was really carefull,expalninng things really well to,and a very nice person.Real proffesional.We need more gp like him

It was easier to get an appointment now there’s the ability to book ahead when invited to do so by the GP, but I still think the e-consult system is too long-winded & not accessible to many. The GP himself was friendly & thorough. I left feeling like I’d been heard & achieved the outcome I wanted whereas sometimes it can feel like you’re having to convince a GP, when you know your own body. As my appointment was last of the day, I was able to speak about two different issues. Ordinarily this requires two separate appointments, which is frustrating & not very efficient. I think they should reconsider this policy where time permits.

I contacted my gp practice through e consult and was asked to make an appointment with the gp and given 3 separate available appointments within the week. After seeing the gp I needed a blood test and was given an appointment the following day. The whole procedure ran smoothly and is a vast improvement on previous visits to the gp.

Unfortunately I was nearly 30 mins late for my appointment which I know sometimes can’t be helped, on other occasions things have been ok

Really improved now there are more doctors and appointments are available at Abbey Manor again. In my recent appointment I was given plenty of time to explain symptoms and discuss my concerns and options.

Very disappointed with my recent visit. i urgently requested an appointment and had to wait over a week to get one. The waiting room was empty but my appointment was still 15 mins late. I had hoped to alleviate my anxiety but it just made me feel worse. She wasn’t able to suggest anything I wasn’t already doing. I was given a fit note but that was it. The dr told me she would be in touch to sort out being referred back for titration support. But I have heard nothing. I’m so disappointed.
