Saw a newish partner in the practice who I had seen before.He was everything a doctor should be;caring,knowledgeable and very thorough.He also reassured my wife on the same visit about a hip problem she had been having.Nice to see the NHS at its best!

Developed worrying symptoms, Receptionist extremely patient, sympathetic and efficient. Speedy appointment with GP who was superb, reassuring and instilled confidence, in fact the usual Cumberland House experience!

The member of staff who took my call was very helpful and considerate. As a result of their actions l received a consultation appointment after being referred to the on call doctor at Southport hospital. They also sorted a physio appointment which was recommended for me too as l was anxious and in pain. Thank you

I had a recurring issue that needed antibiotics to solve. I sent an email over the weekend explaining my symptoms and on Monday morning received a response advising me to phone to see the GP in person. I phoned at 10.30, and was advised of my position in the queue, after 5 minutes delay the call was answered and after explaining I was asked if I could attend at the Surgery at 11.10 the same day. I was in front of the GP and examined at 11.30 and out with the prescription by 11.45. Thanks to Cumberland House staff - very impressive. I

Your Review: Submitted an online Klinik form to the surgery at 10am Monday (23rd January), got a response by 11am, asking me to phone and make appointment for a face to face consultation the same day. Attended appointment at 1.40pm. Explained what had led me to submit the Klinik form and the GP did some quick tests and made his assessment of medications required, which I collected from our local pharmacy about 2.30 pm. GP also took the opportunity to review my statin medication and organise associated blood tests. You do hear a lot of stories about problems accessing GP services, but based on my experience last Monday, I cannot fault it - GP service at its very best.

As advised on the phone message, I did an on line referral and was a bit sceptical as to how long it would be before I had a response. How wrong I was when within 5 minutes I had a phone call offering me an appointment that afternoon! That was followed up by a GP call at lunch time asking if I could go the surgery now. This was not possible, but a discussion resolved that a prescription for antibiotics would be suffice. This was written up, sent to the my local pharmacy and within an hour I had the medication. How good is that! Efficient use of everybody’s time.

Cumberland House Surgery have just been fantastic whilst supporting my father through severe pain the past couple of weeks. The GP’s and staff have gone above and beyond whilst trying to get a diagnosis for my fathers health condition. The GP’s have seen him and called him numerous times and each has been in a timely manner with the utmost care and attention; referrals have been done quickly and efficiently by the secretaries and nothing has been too much trouble. I cannot thank them enough and all staff have been amazing.

I have had to deal with the practice several times for emergencies and this week for a minor illness. I submitted an econsult and was seen within 24 hours by the nurse who was extremely professional and dealt with my problem there and then. Previously I have seen doctors with emergency issues and they have all been very helpful.

I booked an appointment for simple procedure. I also booked the rest of the week off work to recover. At the appointment i was told that the same doctor who booked me in for it wasn't confident enough to perform the procedure, and that i should self refer to a clinic at the hospital which will take months!

I have been with the surgery for only 3 years and can honestly say that all of the staff are incredible! From reception staff to pharmacist, nurse and GP. Always extremely helpful, friendly, informative and professional. I feel extremely lucky to be part of this practice. Unfortunately I've had to contact them a few times in the last 6 months and have been so impressed with the care, especially during these difficult times. Absolute credit to the profession.
