I met this doctor for the first time yesterday at my appointment and cannot praise him enough. He was clear and precise and took time to explain what was happening. The doctor remembered when I explained my deafness and I lipreading and thus I valued so much, feeling wholly included. I understand that time is precious, but this was an excellent consultation which did not seem hurried, a true reflection on the GP who clearly excels in communication skills.

Surgery enabled an appointment super quick with a duty doctor. The doctor examined me very carefully and efficiently and prescribed medication accordingly to ease my concerns.

I was given an appointment on the day I made contact. I was treated with great respect by both the doctor and the receptionists. The whole experience was positive and rewarding. Thank you.

I called the practice early a.m expecting an appointment in a few weeks, but I was given one the same day due to the nature of my symptoms. Everyone I spoke to in booking my appointment was very polite, and also gave me a text prompt at my request. My Dr listened intently as I explained my symptoms, and advised on a very sensible approach, with immediation prescription relief, and other diagnostic options within the practice and at the local hospital. I really came away from my appointment feeling that the practice treated my health as significant importance and priority.

I have always been very satisfied over the past years with the team at Cumberland House, however the care I have received the past few months has been exceptional. In particular the doctor I have seen since January has gone out of his way to tackle not just the initial reason I made an appointment for, but a host of issues I was experiencing, often thinking outside of the box.The result has been really brilliant both physically and in tackling a chronic mental health problem. I have always felt he was happy to spend as long as it would take at appointments and it is through his wonderful care and professional expertise I am in a much better place with my health - and I know if I needed to I could ask to see him and he would respond promptly. On a separate point, the practice as a whole has been able to accommodate referrals the doctor has asked for within short time frame. The practice staff are lovely, helpful, knowledgeable and caring despite being so busy. I know if I contact the practice and need to speak to a doctor that day it will happen. I know I can see a physiotherapist within a few days. So many people these days are quick to moan about General Practice, but despite all the pressures the team are under, I honestly cannot fault the care I receive with Cumberland House. They are simply “The Best”.

Nothing appears to be too much trouble for my GP at this super practice! He is kind, knowledgeable and professional. I never need to wait long for an appointment to see him and these can be a telephone consultation and sometimes beyond the usual working hours of the day, which fits in great with my busy life. Over several years, I have been able to receive continuity, with ongoing care with the same GP, offering knowledgeable, reassuring and kind, first class care.

I booked a GP appointment to discuss my high blood pressure. The doctor listened to my concerns, suggested a change in my medication and we discussed possible ways forward if the increased medication did no decrease my BP readings. The doctor’s manner made the conversation easy.

The Dr knew everything about my ongoing problems. He has sorted out a CT scan for me. I was able to discuss issues without being rushed.

Cumberland House have once again surpassed my expectations as they always do. I have recently attended for an issue and it has been dealt with speedily, highly professionally and efficiently. In the course of my recent visit I have seen my GP, and Musculoskeletal Practitioner. They have been truly fantastic, informative, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I believe that this practice should be recognised as outstanding. When politicians call the NHS 'broken' they should take a look at Cumberland House, The Macclesfield Medical Centre and the services surrounding them.... Far from broken........ Amazing in fact. Keep up the great work and Thank You so much for a Great service!!!

Very impressed with my recent 50 plus health check. Was expecting a 5 minute appointment but got at least half an hour of assessment and good advice. Don't let anyone tell you the NHS is broken!
