Rated 5 stars out of 5

My wife was I’ll on 23/06/2022 I had problems trying to get through on the internet so I phoned reception. I explained what had happened and they sorted everything out for me and about ten minutes later I received a phone call from a doctor. The doctor arranged for another doctor to pay us a visit as my wife could not make it to the surgery. The doctor arrived about forty five minutes later was very pleasant did a thorough examination and explained the problem and left a prescription. We would like to thank this practice for excellent service once again it could not have been quicker if we had been private. Thank You Very Much.

  2. Review titled Unprofessional practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

My baby who was born extremely premature and spent 4 months in hospital came home on different medication which he needs every day. This GP practice is in charge of issuing prescription. Every time I have to re order my child’s medication it is just a nightmare. I sent email request following gp rules and they just ignored it, after speaking which pharmacy who said they haven’t received any prescription I had to spend 1.5 hours to get hold on Gp reception who said they haven’t received any request from me (I have proof of email that’s been sent). It is not the first time when they just ignore prescription request or will only prescribe 2 out of 3 medication without giving explanation why they have missed on of the medication. I don’t understand why I have to spend 2 hours every other week on phone with this practice if they don’t know how to prescribe medication to child. It’s very unprofessional as my child cannot live without these medication and because of GP practice negligence I have to spent hours on phone to get them sorted. I have sent email with request of medication giving all information why it’s been ignored? Why from 3 item request practice is prescribing only 2 and missing out one? Why they are prescribing medication which are needed to use every day only to last 20 days or 6 days not months worth supply? It’s special medication which requires days to get delivered to pharmacy and because of incompetence of this practice my child can stay without requiring medication and I can stay without nerves by dealing with these issues every month! I have child with special medical needs but I have to spend hours on phone by calling every month as they just ignore emails or do prescription wrong. It’s been numerous times.

  3. Review titled "Front of house" issues

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I attended today to drop off a sample for my Mum who is currently end of life & I am caring for her. I made a very minor mistake with information (my brain is fried) My mistake made the person who was supposedly helping me swap eyes with their colleague as if 'I was an idiot'. It was very blatant & not hidden. I don't attend very often myself but on my last visit a couple of months ago I witnessed a very similar incident which made the patient distressed. A case of the wrong people being in the caring profession here I'm afraid & hearing very similar stories via health professionals currently visiting my Mum. I would like to add that the majority of staff here are lovely.

  4. Review titled Problems with the on line booking system

Rated 1 star out of 5

Spent 15 minutes filling in all the required fields. Tried to send. Message came back oops there is a problem, re-send!!! Rang the surgery and tried to explain problem, interrupted by receptionist and told to resend. Explained that the problem was not at my end. All she said was that I would have to resend. Not at all helpful. It appears that this new system is not fit for purpose and until faults are rectified the old system of ringing up and speaking to a competent person should be re-implemented.
