  1. Review titled Up Date on previous review

I would like to thank the Palliative care Team and Oncology team for liaising with Dr at practice In arranging to obtain my medication. I did receive a phone call from a doctor with advice which I do appreciate. Unfortunately e mails and letters regarding my case for medication were mislaid or delayed in transit .

  2. Review titled Unsatisfactory service

Rated 1 star out of 5

My palliative services and Oncology at Queen Elizabeth hospital sent EMails to this practice, after 3 weeks it was still not recognised even after 3Visits by myself and husband together with our. prescription request.Obtaining your prescriptions on time is impossible and getting to see a G.P. Is also impossible.I tried to arrange appt to see a G.P.and was told last week it would be 5thMay I then made appt to see practice nurse on 30April this has been changed to a phone call which I have requested, I hope it comes to fruition. I realise the practice is under strain but the service is truly lacking and failing to provide a simple prescription service. Most days a doctor is not on duty and if they are you can never get to see one.Phoning for an appt at 8.00 am does not work and poorly patients cannot get to the practice to try for appt. It appears the practice relies on The walk in centre facility at Sandwell which is of no use to poorly patients then you have a knock on effect with 111 or 999. I only hope this email is taken seriously and competency of staff is reviewed by the practice manager.

  3. Review titled Invalid email address/Not answering phones.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have attempted to call the surgery this afternoon, at 4pm as their details claim the surgery is open until 6.30pm. When nobody answered i sent an email via the email provided on their website, The email bounced back as the email address is no longer valid. I have advised the man on reception about this previously but nothing has been done to correct this issue, and their details have not been updated since 2018.

  4. Review titled Appalling place

Rated 1 star out of 5

Son needed flu vaccine and was booked in for the Monday. On arrival was told they didnt have drug in and to rebook. Booked for the following Monday to be told drug still wasnt available at appointment. Further booked in that Wednesday to be told nurse wasn't qualified to administer drug and then asked if we would go to dudley for it which I refused as I do not live in dudley and this practice is local. Now my son is unvaccinated and now very poorly with some form of bug. The lad on the reception is clueless and not answering phones when people are there is absolutely disgusting. This place needs to be closed down permanently. Absolutely shocking staff.

  5. Review titled Bad Practice however, likely the same everywhere

Rated 1 star out of 5

My Dad died yesterday and I have been sitting on the phone, on hold for 45 mins and still not got through. Thank you for adding to my stress and grief at such a difficult time. Also, it is very annoying when you hear "Your call is important to us" every 10 seconds which quite frankly, is obviously a lie otherwise I would not still be sitting on hold.

I was asked to book an appointmet by the Surgery (Clifton Lane West Bromwich)to have blood pressure checked. I called the Surgery waited on hold for 10 minutes only to be cut off. This is very poor practice as it was the Surgery that asked me to book the appointment in the first intance.

I had blood test had text message to make an appointment, was over phone 3 weeks later, had another text message to book an blood pressure check, sent wrong telephone number, then phoned surgery kept on hold for 30 mins to be cut off. You’re lucky if you see Doctor always a locum . Being going downhill since previous GPs retired, people complained about them but you always got to see a GP.

  8. Review titled Shocking service

Rated 1 star out of 5

So I’ve tried calling 3 times this afternoon to get through to my surgery, I was first on hold for 6 minutes…cut off. Tried calling back and was on hold for another 17 minutes. The receptionist had picked up the phone and I believe had attempted to cut me off again but failed, leaving the call on and I could hear the two receptionists in the back ground discussing customers appointments and potentially revealing confidential information. I shouted a number of times for someone to hear me, and eventually after 5 mins of me shouting hello, the receptionist had realised I had been on the phone and ended the call, without an apology. This is very serious as I could have been exposed to sensitive information. I’ve had nothing but trouble with this surgery over the last couple of years. I can’t even get through any morning to make an appointment. I can’t believe a practice would treat any of their patients like this, and especially not being careful enough to end the call and me being able to hear conversations in the background.

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. This issue with the line cutting off has been reported to our phone provider upon becoming aware. If you could kindly provide your name and telephone number to the Surgery we can include your call issue as an example and also will be able to follow up your call to our Surgery to look into in more depth. We appreciate your comments and of course will feed these back to our staff team. Many Thanks

  9. Review titled Terrible practice

Rated 2 stars out of 5

My father in-law has got mixed dementia I had a call for a dementia review for him has I'm his appointee the call dint happen it took 3.5 hors to get through to them to ask why and they told me the patient had cancelled the appointment which I said its impossible because he didn't know about the appointment plus he doesn't have the phone number for the surgery I received 3 text messages saying his consultation was book for 9am on that day I emailed to complain about it I haven't received any reply what so ever I did explain it was impossible for my father in-law to ring them has he hasn't got through number so the cancellation was done by someone at the surgery and didn't bother to contact to let me no its not the first time of having trouble with them when we asked for a doctor to come out to see my father in-law because he had a very bad leg and I said it looked like cellulitis they said we don't do home visits and asked me to send pictures of his leg they still couldn't tell properly from them and then asked if they could do a video call which we had to accept because my father in-law won't leave the house at all and then could only say it could be cellulitis and sent a prescription for antibiotics plus other things that have happened so I wouldn't recommend this surgery at all

  10. Review titled Poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had abnormal blood results and needed some medication. I called the GP to book an appointment. Receptionists gave appointment after 2 weeks of ringing them every morning. Receptionists keep on giving wrong appointment time to their patients. My treatment has been delayed for nearly 3 weeks. Doctors call me at the time I’m not aware I have an appointment. I have left my name and number with reception for their practice manager to call me. No one has made a phone call to explain why appointments are getting cancelled and changed without informing patients. This GP is unsafe for patients.
