The telephone consult held was as planned for but without prompting I was asked if I could make a pm appointment the following day which was great news. My GP practice doctor conducted the injection of corticosteroids to both hands with care, consideration and professionalism. He enquired about my general health, listened to my history and long term periods of pain explaining the benefits of pain relief, various responses and durations of success possible and although unlikely the risks concerned for which a consent form had to be duly signed to proceed. All seems well so far six days on.

Whenever I have the slightest concern, I call the receptionist early ( the receptionists since the past year 10/10) and a doctor always calls back, usually within 30 minutes, and if necessary, I can see them that day. Also the prescription department 10/10.

My visit today was a last minute one due to cancellation. I had my knee injected by a GP. The GP was kind, empathetic and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this GP practice.
