My visit today was a last minute one due to cancellation. I had my knee injected by a GP. The GP was kind, empathetic and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this GP practice.

On visiting the practise all staff are helpful and understanding. Will advise on what you can do if the surgery is fully booked for the day if you need same day medical help. Phone line needs updating as wait time is quite long. Best to visit surgery.

Appointment @ surgery went well. Felt at ease when procedure was explained to me. First time in about 3+ years I managed to see a GP.

I was seen by 2 medical students, who asked quite a few relevant and caring questions about my wellbeing. They then briefed the GP in my presence. I was very pleased with the appointment and also with the outcome.

Although it took 3 visits to get sorted, I have finally got my prescription sorted out. I had to got into the surgery again today as a promised was not sent to my nominated chemist and I had no tablets left due to the wrong tablets being prescribed.The receptionist was very helpful in asking the Dr to sort things out for me, and supplying me a prescription as my pharmacy had no attending pharmacist and as such I would not be able to get my tablets. Not only did the Dr give me the prescription he also saw me face to face and apologised fir the problems this had caused

Dr referred to 'specialist' who prescribed a change of treatment and issued a new prescription but it failed to be passed on to pharmacy. Asked again, and told 'waiting to be signed' - still no result. Had to ask a third time. This is not good practice.

Thank you for your comments. If you would like to contact the Practice Manager I would be happy to look into your query, unfortunately with Anonymous posts it leaves little recourse for investigation into the facts.

Phoned for that day appointment during the time specified - wait for 19 'other callers' - well over an hour. Free calls for one hour maximum so cost me what I can't afford when that money could have been on other important aspects. Need more staff/ second line because this is often a problem which everyone complains about.

Thank you for your comments. Currently the practice operates between 3-5 open lines during peak times, there is no specified time to book an appointment, just press option 1. We also offer online access via our website if easier. I am unable to review your comments on precise wait time due to the anonymous nature of your review, however on reviewing the data of calls today, none have waited over an hour to be answered.

After a long period with only two Drs listed it is good to see more names. Hopefully we will not have to wait such a long time now for a 'standard face to face'. But I am mistified on being told by a relative that now urgent appointments will only be given on five mornings a week. Can you please say why this is necessary because mornings and afternoon appointments were far better for the public. Please make a public statement.

I have had spinal problems for a couple of years now and the degree of pain can vary greatly, this requires occasionally strong controlled pain medication at short notice. I used the practice website to explain my dilema, less than 24 hours later, the admin team, the prescription clerk and the doctor had my pain medication waiting for me at the pharmacy. The practice is always busy but with kind words and swift deeds had it sorted, it seems very quick and easy to complain and moan about surgeries ( ours especially) so I would like to say tbank you to all involved for a professional, swift job.. Thank you and well done. Phil

I needed a prescription approved by Dr urgently, receptionist informed Dr and within 10 minutes prescription was sent to pharmacy.
