I was told to make a GP appointment if my symptoms worsened. My symptoms got worse and I rang for an appointment. Instead of booking an appointment the receptionist instructed me to use the online system and a GP would contact me the same day, they didn't. I'm now in considerable pain, and still no contact from the GP. The system is broken.

I have a child that has complex medical needs and cannot get an appointment at this surgery. A senior partner has admitted that they have too many patients for the number of doctors they have. We end having to go to the local urgent care centre or A&E departments in Leicester or Nottingham because we cannot get an appointment at Rosebery.

Dear NHS Site User, Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us via our NHS page. We are very sorry to hear about the difficulty that you have had trying to get an appointment at the surgery. It is certainly the case that demand for GP appointments is higher than it ever has been and a decreasing workforce means that across the country there are not enough doctors for the number of patients who need help. Our practice is currently in the process of recruiting additional GPs and we hope that process will be successful to help improve access to appointments.
