My practice always goes above and beyond when it comes to healthcare. Me and my family have always had immense support no matter what our visit is for. All the GPs are just brilliant and extremely friendly. I visited today with an ongoing concern with my baby and as always the GP I saw reassured me and made us feel at ease. She kindly also contacted the hospital straight away spoke to a consultant and called me back within minutes of me getting home to give me advice which put my mind at rest. Thank you to everyone including the reception staff.

I went yesterday to Rosebery to ask for GP summary which is free , but the lady in reception asked me to pay for that and fill form for it .a month ago I get my GP summary from same GP for free and it’s took one minute .

Dear NHS Site User, I am sorry to hear of the recent difficulties you have experienced when visiting the surgery. You are correct that there is no charge for patients to access their medical records and I am sorry if our reception team suggested otherwise. There are some occasions when they do need to be checked by a GP before they can be released and this can sometimes cause a delay. After being sent by the surgery for an x ray, I was informed by the hospital to contact the surgery for the results. On contacting the surgery I was informed by the receptionist that there was an abnormality showing in the x ray and a doctor would contact me within a week. After no contact within that week I re rang the surgery and was initially told that no x ray had been received from the hospital. I informed the receptionist that this was incorrect as it was the surgery that had informed me of an abnormality, after further investigation the x ray results where located and told that I would be contacted within 6 Weeks. This is after being previously being told within 1 week. This is misinformation, and further delay is subjecting me unnecessary further pain, discomfort and restrictions in my day to day life.

Had to have a blood test today. Saw one of the nurses. Very pleasant and made me feel at ease. I'm not the easiest to get blood out of but the nurse confidently found a vein, inserted the needle which I never felt and withdrew the blood. I left feeling I'd been well looked after.

I would like to thank everyone involved in the end of life experience my Dad received from the practice. The Gp was excellent I especially liked her honesty about what was going to happen and the support the surgery was able to offer. She went over and above my expectations even visiting my Dad after surgery hours on a Friday evening. Within days we were provided with necessary equipment and introduced to othe specialists who became invaluable with their experience and knowledge. The staff on reception went out of their way to help and support us every time I rang them. End of life for anyone is terrible but the surgery really did make it more bearable. Thank you so much we really did appreciate your kindness.

Last week, I had the pleasure of scheduling an appointment with my GP from Charnwood Medical Group. Not only was I able to arrange a GP appointment within the same week, but my GP kindness, professionalism, and attentive approach truly stood out. She took the time to listen to my concerns and recommended Betacap, a medicine that miraculously resolved my long-standing dandruff issue. Moreover, I'd like to extend my gratitude for the seamless process of obtaining a repeat prescription upon request. This experience has reinforced my belief in the dedication and efficiency of our NHS team, even amidst resource and funding constraints. It's important to highlight that my positive encounter with my GP and the NHS contrasts with the negative portrayal often seen in the media and on social platforms. I believe it's crucial to recognize and celebrate the hard work and commitment of our healthcare professionals, especially in challenging circumstances of resource crunch and limited funds. Once again, thank you to my GP and the entire NHS team for your unwavering dedication to patient care.

Unable to get one Disgraceful, so many hoops to jump through not able to talk to anyone when you do finally do get through you get an automated message which doesn't help you to get an appointment or actually talk to someone

I had a knee operation and had to come to the surgery for after care,I'm unsure who the doctor wss at the time dealing with me. They were do helpful,and helped me with my aftercare.

I had been trying for months prior to this to get a GP appointment to discuss my need for a referral without any luck or when I do get through told they are only taking emergency appointments. After a trip to urgent care and then A&E earlier this week I was told to contact my GP to further discuss a referral and to book an appointment if the issues I went to A&E with persisted. Got through this morning after a long wait and was booked in for a telephone appointment for the morning which I have yet to receive into Friday afternoon. And not able to get through to reception to find out a time range for this appointment before I have to leave for work this evening. I am very frustrated with this GP practice. I can never get an appointment and the one time I do manage, only after having had to go to A&E beforehand, I am still left for a lone period of time waiting and possibly having to cancel sessions at work (I work as a counsellor so cannot use my phone during sessions) to try and accommodate for my morning phone call having not taken place in the morning

Submitted online doctor call back request Monday a.m By 6.15 p.m on Tuesday heard nothing. Rang a number of times and receptionist said doctor had my request. Even asked for a photograph of infected lump. I am 77 and do not have a smart phone. When down this route as ringing at 8.00am will get you nowhere. This practice is a disgrace.

It sounds like you have used our new system to send a message which we aim to reply to in two working days advising of the next steps. We introduced this system as a result of patient feedback about the difficulties of having to phone at 8am. It is hard for me to investigate what has happened in this instance as I don’t have any information about you but I would be very happy to talk through the new system and look at anything that has gone wrong and can be contacted on 01509 615271 if you are able to help me do this. We do ask patients to send us images sometimes, if they can, as we can often avoid an unnecessary visit for patients by doing this but we have different options for patients who do not have a smart phone, again this is something I would be very happy to look in to if you can provide us with some more details.
