Really calm visit today, seen on time and was a lovely practitioner. Staff answer phone calls and get seen quickly.

Fist time attending this practice. I was very relieved to be given a same day appointment for my son (nearly 9). I called in the morning with my concerns and was given a same day appointment, fitting in with school and travel tunes too. Reception/call staff were very helpful. My son was anxious, but the GP listened, assessed, examined and watched him walking to assess his walk/leg/groin complaint of pain. He also discussed best over the counter medicines and gave advice, requesting we re-attend before weekend if situation remains same or worsens. Overall, I am happy with the service. Reception/wait area is clean, uncluttered, bright. The practice as a whole are efficient and helpful. In a straight forward manner. I’m not sure if they get thanks very often, but they have mine, as a reassured mum.

Practice has met my requirements in a pleasant professional manner. When necessary I have been contacted to attend for vaccination, BP readings and bloods, my appointment times have been on time.

Very disappointed with my experience at this practice. I called them at 8am to book a telephone appointment and my call wouldn't go through as it said line busy. When I finally got through at a quarter past 8 I was told there were no more telephone appointments. I filled in an e-consult for my problems and I got a phone call soon after - which was probably the best part of my whole experience - asking me to come in for a face to face appointment with the nurse that day. I come into the practice at my appointment time and there is a 15 minute wait after my scheduled time before the nurse calls my name. This is not something I would have minded as I understand that GP practices are busy but the NP didn't even bother to smile at me. I smiled at her several times and she just sort of ignored it. There was no attempt at making me feel comfortable or welcome in the practice and I felt awkward and like I was just using up her time. I know NHS staff are stressed but there should at least be an attempt at establishing patient rapport. She immediately started off by saying that two of the problems I had could not be seen by the GP practice and I had to use other services, and she spent a little bit of time talking about my third problem but it seemed like she was more interested in closing the consultation - I want to point out that it was only at this point she seemed friendlier towards me. There was no attempt to examine me and I felt like my concerns weren't even properly engaged with. I don't understand why this could not have been a telephone appointment. This could all have been done over the phone since she didn't even take a look at me, which I very much would have thought to be part of the consultation. To be made to come into the surgery and wait while ill, only to have a brief and fairly cold consultation seems like a massive waste of both my time and hers. This was a very very frustrating experience for me. As someone who is a member of the healthcare profession myself, I was surprised and disappointed. I personally would not treat my patients like this.

Can't fault service from doing econsult then appointment everyone in practice polite and helpful and always have been able to get an appointment

Everyone very friendly and professional from the receptions to the doctor. Didn't have to wait long to see the doctor. The practice is very accommodating and the receptionist go out of their way to help you.

I had a new patient health check with a practice nurse who was friendly, professional and thitough. She went through all my notes and I had plenty of time to discuss my concerns.

Receptionist are lovely and helpful, the nurses put you at your ease while being efficient and very helpful, and today I saw a nurse practitioner who was absolutely reassuring and explained where and why I had the pain in my back coming round under my arm and into my chest and I had an examination of my breasts just to check I was examining myself properly I left the surgery feeling so much better because I had an explanation of why I felt these pains and I know how to deal with then I felt reassured

I was in to have my bloods taken. I only waited a couple of minutes before I was shouted on. The person I saw was very friendly and reassuring.
