   I have tried booking an appointment online, but it appears that you are no longer able to do this. I phoned the practice and was told you can only get an ‘on the day’ appointment. People have jobs they can’t just take of from with a couple of hours notice. Being unable to make an advance booking means not being able to see your doctor even thought you need to. I don’t understand this sudden change in booking policy but I strongly believe that it will prevent a lot of people from seeking a timely medical advice/help. Just to clarify, this was introduced post COVID pandemic.

   Thank you for taking the time to review our practice. We have chosen to book on the day to enable patients who need to be seen by a GP that day to get an appointment and for the majority of our patients this works well. We find that if we pre book appointments we end up with not having enough appointments for patients who need to be seen on the day but also our rate of patients who do not attend rises. We have previously always done book on the day with a few pre bookable appointments but at this time the Doctors feel our appointments are being managed in a more timely way with less wasted time on patients who do not show. Unfortunately you chose to add your review as anonymous so we are unable to see if we can help you further.
