Review titled Very positive
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mrs Marilyn Pratt - Posted on 09 June 2025
The receptionist was friendly, helpful and efficient. The doctor - and I have not had a face to face appointment for a long time - was friendly, reassuring, helpful and provided follow up treatment and advice. All very positive.

Review titled Nurse review
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sonia Marson - Posted on 11 June 2025
Today I had a appointment for a blood pressure review. I was seen by the nurse called Nellie. She was the best nurse I have ever seen there. She was so lovely and put me at complete ease. Even my blood pressure was OK. Usually it's high because I always feel nervous. Nellie put me at complete ease and was lovely to talk to. Lovely lady and very helpful. It was a pleasure to see her. Will definitely ask to book appointment with her at the next review. Thank you so much Nellie

Today I had shingles jab.the vaccine nurse was very good she looked at my records to tell me this was my second and final shingles vaccine .I was pleased.she looked at previous blood test also to tell me how was my pre diabetes test results So I know where I stand.she was very helpful. We had a good chat and showed an interest in what I was doing to fill my time in newly retired time.i have found vaccine nurses very informative up to yet.sorry we had one leave.well done to them all.the nurse didn't rush me at all.she gave me the time I needed although I know from seeing it in the news all the time how our NHS are stretched to limits .so well done to them they doing great job in looking after all of us in Tipton.

Review titled Unbelievable

My 87 year old mother received text messages and also a letter asking her to book her annual blood test. We rang the number for blood tests and booked it for today, which she received confirmation for. I picked my mother up, took her in, to be asked by phlebotomy lady, "Who told you to book this test? You're not on the system to have a blood test. You'll have to go back downstairs and speak to reception" So we had to traipse back downstairs, bearing in mind my mother is bad on her legs. We spoke to the receptionist who had to book another blood test for the following month, even though we were there in the building. What a waste of time that was. Why ask you to book a blood test then tell you it's not on the system?

I had need to ask for support from District nurse whilst recovery at home after major surgery. Staff were very helpful. I also had a call from pharmacy to review new medication prescribed and explained side effects to be aware of. This reduced my concerns and aids recovery.

Review titled Didn't listen to a word I said.
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Had an out of hours appointment that lasted less than 3 minutes. Doctor didn't listen to what I had to say and had already assumed my problem when I sat in the chair. I was trying to discuss an allergic reaction but got told I had dry skin and he spoke over me when I tried to show the photos that caused me to contact 111 to ask if I pay for prescriptions. I was asked 2 questions before he told me appointment was over, have a good day. I've never felt so disrespected or little at doctors before and cried whilst leaving. Wouldn't recommend anyone who has an issues they're genuinely concerned about to attend this clinic. Have had to contact 111 again for more help and pharmacist said what he prescribed wouldn't alleviate any of symptoms, just left me feeling degraded like he didn't even care and just wanted me out the door.

Review titled Action needed
Rated 1 star out of 5

Trying to book appointment is horrendous and has caused considerable upset. Finally had to drive to gp in tears to get my father seen. The receptionist was amazing with face to face support - thank you and service when seeing dr was good but practice is now virtually impossible to contact. When they answer phone after long queue you are told to go to website. Website suggested concerns/type of illness do not fit and there is no where to explain your need for support. My parents have no access to internet and it appears to have cut them off for support. Website needs urgent changing so you can explain concerns not try to fit a drop down of suggested issues.
