    My elderly parents and myself had our covid and flu jabs. The nurses and staff were super helpful and friendly. Nurses introduced themselves by name and ensured we had all the information before leaving. Thank you.

    I did my new consultation using the new system for a prescription I have had on and off for a few years. I received my email telling me my prescription had gone to the pharmacy within 2 hours.

    Friendly and helpful. I wish when using the phone to contact the practice it was answered more quickly. Once through you are dealt with efficiently and promptly and professionally. An excellent example to other practices. Sometimes things go wrong but it is how it is dealt with and quickly sorted out. Very well done.

    After being told I could have the possibility to have the weight loss injections and now being told as I am a type 1 diabetic this is not the case. I need help with my weight and the injection would be the best option. The diabetic checks are a waste of my time when I don't get support

    Beacon Medical Group are an amazing practice. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Find the online consultation process easy and efficient and you can always call if something lis more urgent. At first I found this process strange, but it actually saves time in those cases where a face to face consultation is not necessary. I would like to thank one particular doctor for her rapid and thorough consultation. In October I had an issue and she saw me urgently. My PSA blood test had come back normal but after an examination she referred me urgently to Urology. I was diagnosed with large bilateral prostate cancer. I had surgery on 7th January. I truly believe that her thoroughness and prompt action probably saved my life. I cannot thank her enough!

    Used e-consult for an ongoing issue, was called once after waiting two weeks, during a work meeting. Was then told I was called twice (untrue as I was sure to have phone on loud immediately after) and then to resubmit a consultation in its entirety. A waste of everyone’s time and resources. A week later, I submitted an online prescription request with a note attached explaining the specified medication I need, which I have received as a repeat prescription for the last 30 years. It was totally overlooked and given a) less medication than needed b) lacked one of the medications required. My faith in the nhs as a whole is at rock bottom and this E-consult service has only acted as a barrier between getting seen by a gp, rather than making it easier. I would also hope that someone as educated as a gp would take the time to read what my past medications have been, alongside the attached note, before submitting medication that was not the entirety of what was required. Rather, it was a clear administrative mistake, that led to further mistakes because of lack of due care. I understand that GPs are overworked but I have come to expect the absolute minimal and will likely be looking to go private, as my health is simply at risk relying on a service that cannot be counted on

    Doctor called me following an online request. Called me in immediately and referred me to Derriford Hospital for a consultation, they rang me within 2 working days and I now have an appointment within 2 weeks.

    Very helpful staff but the econsult process for a referral when a diagnosis is already known causes unnecessary delays and frustration for the patient. Also I was surprised i could complete my own fit note which was reviewed/approved by the GP based on telephone questioning.
