Waiting for doctor call. Review of medication was haphazard . This surgery is one of the worst for doctor appointments. Very little face to face

After completing an E consult, I was phoned 2 weeks later on the day I was told. I was then given a face to face appointment on the same day. The doctor referred to information I had already provided so I didn't feel I was repeating myself. As it wasn't an emergency, the 2 weeks wait was no problem and the folow up service was really efficient.

Had a little delay with medication from the hospital but excellent service from Beacon Medical. The care from start to finis from Dr Bedford was amazing. Thank you so much to Dr Bedford.

Rude, nasty unhelpful people better off talking to a brick wall. Called trying to make an appointment and was met with a very unhelpful rude lady who tried to redirect me to a website that wasn’t working explained it wasn’t working and she insisted it was fine because she went on it and proceeded to be rude

It would be good to actually see a Doctor. I have submitted 2 e-consults about the same issue. Both times I have been given an appointment only to find I see a Paramedic or on the second occasion a Physiotherapist. Neither knew what was wrong and basically repeated what I'd told them ie no swelling, nothing to see etc. very nice people and I'm sure excellent at their primary job but, not able to diagnose. Let's hope it's nothing sinister as I still have the same symptoms. I'll try again but absolutely no confidence.

We have a multi-skilled urgent care team to support patients with urgent care issues. Our team is made up of ACP (Advanced Clinical Practitioners). ACPs are higher experienced and skilled professionals, they have the skills required to assess, diagnose and treat patients healthcare needs and can refer to an appropriate specialist if required. ACP’s come from an array of professional backgrounds including Nursing, Paramedic, Physiotherapy and Paediatric nursing. All are experienced and highly qualified and have worked in a multitude of specialist departments within the community and hospital environment. I completed an online consultation in the morning. By half past 10 I received a phone call from a practice practitioner. After a few questions I had an appointment for an hour later.

I was contacted because my blood test results are out of range, and to arrange an appointment with my GP to discuss. I was given an appointment for 16 days later, and was told this is the earliest appointment available. This is far too long to have to wait. It is clearly noted on my records thar I suffer from anxiety so the next 2 weeks for me are going to be very challenging and will escalate my anxiety levels. I was happy for any doctor to ring me to discuss, so that I didn't have to wait, but was informed that wasn't an option. I feel let down and very disappointed.

Dear Claire, thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on our service. I am sorry that you are feeling anxious about your results. If your GP has requested a routine appointment to discuss results, they are aware of the wait time for their appointments. We do have a two -three week wait for a routine appointment, whether that's by phone or face to face. If its something which needs to be discussed sooner the GP will arrange that. I hope this put your mind at ease- they will call you sooner if they need to. If you are concerned and feel that your health is worsening please put in an appointment request online and a clinician will review this and get back to you. Regards
